We stayed at the fabulous crater lake tented camp for a night during our trip around Kenya. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and kind. The food was delicious and the rooms were clean and tidy. What really makes this place special is the amazing views over the lake. We saw so many birds and even gutters during breakfast. If you are in the area you must visit this beautiful place even if it’s just for lunch or a quick drink.

The view you get from the tent is jaw droppibg as it directly looks over the small lake with an amazing sunrise. The walks around the sanctuary was breath taking with lots of wild life. The camp site is populated by monkeys so dont leave your tent open.

Superbe expérience. Les tentes sont très agréables et bien aménagées et le personnel est très accueillant et attentif. Le soir il y avait un feu de camp, et on nous a apporté des bouillottes dans notre lit pour qu'on ait bien chaud. Les repas étaient très copieux et délicieux. On a pu faire deux magnifiques ballades guidées où nous avons croisé buffles, girafes, singes et une multitude d'oiseaux. Pour les amateurs d'oiseaux, c'est le paradis.
