A wonderful hotel in terms of service, location, and guest service. A blend of history and contemporary design in the heart of the city. The interior is full of details that make you want to explore. My room had a comfortable bed, a recently renovated bathroom with a new plumber, and a huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the courtyard. A delicious breakfast was also served. Coffee was served with a smile and the charming Lisa was attentive. The reception staff is always ready to help with any questions. Alessandra, Francesco – thank you! The location is superb! Many attractions are within a 5-7-minute walk, and two metro stations are also 5 minutes away. But there's so much nearby that's easy to reach on foot. I walked briskly to a performance at the Teatro San Carlo in 20 minutes. The city's two main arteries – Via dei Tribunale and the elusive Spacca Napoli – are literally at the hotel entrance. 24-hour reception, central location, and affordability with breakfast were all important to me—and I intuitively chose a really great hotel! Wishing you success and prosperity! I'll definitely be back! Thank you very much❤️

Hotel Neapolis is not easy to find. Its Google Maps location is incorrect. Even seasoned travelers in our group struggled to locate the entrance, marked only by a small sign. Reception sits on the third floor, and the hotel itself is embedded within a car park, just beside La Locanda del Grifo. The hotel is small, with around 18 rooms. Rooms are compact but clean, with reliable A/C and solid WiFi. Set in the historic center, it’s an easy walk to landmarks like Cappella Sansevero and a wealth of restaurants. The surrounding streets are loud well into the night, with traffic, music, and bar noise. During the day, there is construction nearby. Breakfast is disappointing with limited choices and items past their prime (rotten bananas and eggs). In the end, this is a budget-friendly base in a vibrant, gritty part of Naples. It works if you value location and price over ease and tranquility.

I stayed for 2 nights before flying home. The location of this hotel is great - nearby lots of restaurants, a lively atmosphere, and very near the Chapel Sansavero which I wanted to visit on my last day in Italy. It is a 6 minute walk to the Dante metro station, so easy to get elsewhere in the city. The staff were extremely helpful, and the price is a good value for central Naples. It is in an old building and the hallways are decorated with interesting biographies. I had a single room which was comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good in offerings. I would consider staying here again if I return to Naples.

Small hotel a few steps from one of the main streets in the historic centre of Naples (originally the Greek settlement of Nea Polis 'new city') -- great location for tons of restaurants and historically significant architectural highlights. The metro (Dante stop) is 10 minutes walk, and it takes 10 minutes from there to Piazza Garibaldi. The hotel is small and quite comfortable, clean and well kept, though the bathrooms could do with an update (I stayed in two different rooms and in both the shower mounting didn't function and the shower fell to the floor and could only be used by hand). The bed was huge and firm, there are blackout curtains (essential for summer) and the airconditioning worked efficiently (it was 38 degrees during the day, 28 at night so aircon was a must). The staff were friendly and helpful and booked a fixed price taxi to the airport on departure (thus avoiding taxi ripoffs). The breakfast was typical Italian/continental buffet, but got a bit boring after a week of the same food on offer (no cooked breakfast is available). Note that the hotel is at the back of a small piazzetta off the Via Francesco del Giudice (which has no vehicle access) and can be hard to find, especially at night when the area is closed off by large doors and the hotel entrance is unmarked. Recommended for a comfortable stay in the centre of Naples.

I stayed twice at the Hoel Neapolis, once before my hiking trip with a group and once at the end of the trip so I could make a side trip to Pompeii. The first stay, I had a double room and the second time I had a single room. The single room was quite small, but since I was out most of the day it didn't really matter. Rooms were clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast ample. They had a variety of breads, cereals, fruit juices, meats, yogurt, and cheeses. The first night, I had a room that faced a street and it was a bit noisy with singing and loud conversations. During my second stay, my room faced the courtyard and it was very quiet. It was difficult to find initially, since the cab driver at the train station dropped me at the wrong place. During my second stay, the cab driver had no difficulty finding the hotel. The hotel is located in the old part of Naples, and within walking distance of many attractions.

I stayed at the Hotel Neapolis, in the heart of Naples' historic center, from December 31, 2025, to January 3, 2026, and I couldn't have made a better choice. If your goal is to fully experience the authentic energy that reigns in the heart of the city, this property is simply perfect. Thanks to its strategic location, you can easily walk to Naples' main attractions and iconic sites, while also being able to easily travel to surrounding areas. This is a great added value, especially for first-time visitors. I truly appreciated the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff, who were always courteous and attentive, as well as the abundant and well-stocked breakfast, the perfect way to start the day. The cleanliness and order of the rooms complete a decidedly positive picture and are an excellent calling card for the hotel. Recommended for those who want to experience Naples authentically, with comfort, quality, and a truly unparalleled location.

Six rooms booked for a group of friends. We arrived late on a Saturday night, which didn't help us find the hotel, which is right in the heart of Naples, a two-minute walk from the Cappella San Severo. It's true, it's difficult to find because cars can't access the narrow streets and the historic center is completely bustling on a Saturday night. But the Neapolitans are so kind that they'll leave their friends' tables to help you! That said, the location was perfect, the rooms were very decent and clean, and we didn't hear any noise. The reception was open 24/7, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was adequate (both savory and sweet), nothing excessive. Luggage storage was available at no extra charge on the day of departure. Everything went very smoothly.

Hotel Neapolis is a true gem in the heart of Naples. Its location is absolutely perfect: just steps from the city's main attractions, it allows you to fully experience the energy and culture of Naples. Every corner of the hotel reflects meticulous attention to detail. You can feel that every aspect has been designed to ensure a unique and enjoyable experience. But what truly makes this hotel special is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. In such a simple setting, you can breathe in a culture and human warmth that makes your stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an authentic experience in Naples, made up of the small details that make all the difference.
