Check in was very easy and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our first time staying in San Diego and we’d definitely book the same hotel again.

It is important for hotels to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation, especially during these times where hygiene is of utmost importance. Guests expect and deserve a clean and healthy environment to stay in, and it is the hotel's responsibility to provide that.
Finding a poop stain on the toilet seat is not only disgusting but also a huge concern for guests' health and safety. It is unacceptable and should not have happened in the first place. The hotel should take immediate action to thoroughly clean and disinfect the room to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
In addition to hygiene issues, the service at the hotel was also lacking. As a guest, it is reasonable to expect a certain level of professionalism and attentiveness from the staff, especially at the front desk where guests check-in and have their first impression of the hotel. However, this was not the case during my stay.
I hope that the hotel management takes my feedback seriously

It was hard to rate this hotel because it was under renovations. Our accommodations were excellent. The breakfast everyday was delicious and a good variety between hot and cold options. The staff were all excellent, courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Hotel was under renovation, which we did not know prior to booking. Early check in was not available.
Rooms were very clean and the Continental breakfast was good.

they were remodeling.reduccing the breakfast space.the tv in one of the rooms without signal and the other room without the tv remote contro. we let them know what was happening they said yes. but they never worried about anything. was terrible two days without tv. and with the Propery remodeling!!!

Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn. It was going through a renovation at the time, but noise was at a minimum so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast to me was Ok, my wife loved the eggs, she stated the sausage was great the first day but tasted different next day, my sone liked the biscuits and gravy. As a vegan i was disappointed with my choices, it was either dry cereal are bread with PB&J. The bagels were not good and some were old and hard. Fruit was very small apples and oranges that didn't look appetizing. I wish they could get some small plant based milk for cereal but that happens sometimes.Other then the breakfast our stay was pleasurable

They were under new construction, although a little inconvenience, but very clean and organized!
