The location is good, but the facilities are not comfortable and I struggled with the musty smell. The refrigerator was just a storage room and there was no cold at all. It wasn't a power issue, but it was not resolved. There was no hot water, so I asked for action, but this was fixed the next day. The floor carpet was always wet and I thought it was a leak problem, and this always gave off a musty smell. The room was very dark. There were only a few lights, so it felt stuffy.

Minimal hotel facilities and surprise extra fees are the norm for this property. Bathrooms have no doors, there is minimal lighting and furniture in the room, and no other facilities like bar or restaurant etc. Just a room and a bed.

The rooms are smaller which is to be expected. They charge a resort fee which to me is kinda stupid just incluse that in the price so people know how much it is total right away. The bed was decent not the worst not the best. The bathroom was probably my favorite part. The shower was nice and big but the water was touchy lol hot then cold cold then hot. Elevator was a wait here and there but nothing to get worked up over. Vending machines were out of order that kinda ******. The noise level outside was loud but its down town new york thsts to be expected as well. Over all nice hotel for the money. I would stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff. Complimentary water, coffee and tea were disappointingly not replenished. We could not enjoy coffee the second morning and water after the first day.

Very cool hotel. Also very accommodating in allowing us to drop off our bags off when we got into town well before check in. The triple rooms with the bunk are eclectic!

I stayed for 3 nights and it was a super chill environment. Staff was really nice only one instance where they came into the room without knocking but other than that it was a great first experience with hotels on my own. The rooms are super cozy and if you don’t need a lot of eye candy they are perfect. Would stay again.

This was a perfect place for the night after a nice dinner with friends. It’s very convenient to all major attractions and nice restaurants. Would stay here again!

The personnel at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. I was able to store my luggage until the time of check-in. The room was very accommodating. Also location was very good.

This place is a gem! Stayed here multiple times and keep coming back. Great value, but the trade off is less facilities available than some of its competitors. Unique innovative decor that adds interest and has a nysterious appeal without going too over the top. Front desk always seems to have at least two people there ready to assist, great reliable service 24/7.

The location was excellent! Walkable and close to everything. Comfortable bed, quiet room, friendly staff. I’d definitely stay again!

We needed a quick stay for our last night in New York and our experience was great. Very accommodating staff and the rooms were spotless. Would highly recommend for anyone who doesn't need a large sized room and plans to spend most of their time exploring the city.

Unfortunately the room was not clean at all. All the counters were really dusty. Also whenever we opened the window there was really bad smell from the restaurants next door. It was almost impossible to ventilate the room because of that. Also we had booked a bigger room and received a really small one which did not look like the pictures at all. After complaining with the front desk stuff they first did not want to help us at all. After discussing it, the finally gave in and gave us a bigger room. However, one of the younger front desk stuff (girl) laughed at us when we went back (we saw it from the mirror on our way back). After that she never said good morning or hello to us over our whole stay. Really childish and unprofessional behaviour! Also our room card did not work 5-6 time, after a long day we had to always go downstairs to reception to reactivate the card. Really annoying!

We had a problem for almost two hours to check in, there was a problem between ******* and the hotel and my reservation did not appear in the system. In the end it was solved but we wasted too much time
