Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark-Fremont

Top notch place to stay. Easy in and out parking, and an excellent breakfast buffet. They also have an evening reception Monday through Thursday and features hamburgers, egg rolls, pasta- all depending on the day. A menu is affixed to the refrigerator in your room. The staff was extremely kind- from the front desk staff to maintenance to the cleaning staff. They all made us feel at home.

Booked this hotel with my mother for three days to attend a family member’s 90th birthday. There is ample parking and spots for charging your vehicles (though it is always being used). Upon arrival, we were greeted at the reception. The foyer was very basic but instructions were provided in detail. There is a pool, a restaurant that also offers dinner though we only had breakfast since we were there just for a family function. The room is average in size, nothing that will awe you. The bedsheets though, seemed to have seen better days so I had to put a spare bath towel to sleep on. The suite is very functional with the kitchen, a dining table, and the lounge all together. There were two en-suite, which is very convenient. The building appears to be secured since you will need your security key to enter the second part of the building where the rooms are located. I had to collect my cousin downstairs who brought us dinner, since she is unable to get in. Overall, a pleasant stay. It’s very affordable. I would come back since it fits the needs of my family to visit our relatives in Northern California.

Stayed here on a work trip and would definitely return with my family. The room was clean and spacious. Staff was professional and friendly. I wish I'd packed a swimsuit because the pool and hot tub looked very inviting. Outdoor bbq and dining area with fire pits was vibes during breakfast and dinner- which both slapped. Food was good- and dinner includes beer and wine! They also provide you with a grubhub coupon if you're not feeling the dinner that is served. This is a very good hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at what Newark/Fremont has to offer. I'd definitely return.

The Fremont version of the Homewood suites by Hilton checked most every box for a business trip. The larger space in a quiet neighborhood provided fantastic work atmosphere on my time in the area. The workout center was more than adequate and the meal/snack evening time was a bonus. I did have some Internet issues, but only minor.

The management at this hotel is doing a great job. While other Homewood hotels (Rancho Cordova) are still capitalizing on COVID restrictions (skeleton cleaning crew, 1 night a week socials, $2 wash $2 dry), this hotel is offering 4 night/week dinner socials, $1 wash $1 dry, free laundry soap, and a wonderful Staff. Salvin is wonderful and very thoughtful about his guests. Dilly, Adaline, Pattie, Rish, just to name a few, we're all very courteous and professional. Thank you for making a tough job and time away from family more bearable. One request would be to offer a local beer for evening socials. Thank you!!

I was in town for a business trip and booked this hotel, because I had my kids with me and needed a full kitchen. From the moment I checked in, Tilly was so kind and welcoming. I usually dont write reviews, but I knew I had to in this case!. The room was a suite and came stocked with all of the utensils I needed. Full Fridge, Dishwasher, etc. To top it off, during the week a full breakfast is served. Not just pastries, but eggs, bacon, waffle maker, you name it. Dinner is also served and there was a calendar on our fridge of what the dinner would be each night. I really didnt need to purchase many meals outside of our hotel, because breakfast and dinner were covered. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone needing longterm stay.

I was checked in in this hotel due to overbooked room in Resident Inn for 3 days. CHECKIN: I was checked in by Memo Rodriguez with a promise that if the overbooked type of room is available, he would call to move me there. - No call over the entire next day. DAY1. I returned to the hotel at night late just to realise ALL MY PERSONAL STUFF WAS GONE, the room was clean. They cleaned the room by mistake, I guess. - First, they said there was no personal items in the room. Really? When I said that I have to report a robbery to the police they started calling managers. - I spent ~1hrs with the staff there to be finally told that Lost&Found was locked until the next day 7am. - I was advised to stay in my dirty clothes overnight. You probably think it is a jock, I thought so too. :-( I was not offered even toothbrush&toothpaste. DAY2: Next morning the staff returned my bag of "non existing items" but all new and clean clothes were GONE, even pajamas, unbelievable. - I contacted another manager Gerardo Saldivar and I was promised to get my clothes back or compensation during a day. - Guess what, no call, nothing. I returned back at night to realise, nothing had been done. They gave me toothpaste and few snacks + water. - I was advised to stay in the hotel in dirty clothes again. They did not even call me to inform that they would not return my clothes in order to buy new clothes. DAY3: I was promised to see the General Manager Issa Arsala but the manager did not come. 3 days 2 hotels had had no General Manager or the manager did not care about the case, it is most likely. - I reported to the police. The hotel has to be run by the police, the police arrived promptly and filed the report in minutes. - I talked to Gerardo again to get another portion of promises and an email in order to contact GM. Conclusion: I see nobody managed to reach GM and they contacted GM over email, me too. Hotline Support is another Story: 1hr to get anybody and the first guy just dropped the call but the second associate made an official complaint.

Denied registration based on word spreading I was an evaluator of hotels. I normally would not stay here but the business circumstances dictated I stay in Fremont. I stayed near by. This is not the friendly atmosphere Hilton has advertised.

I’ve stayed at this property several times when visiting family and enjoy it every time. The extra space is great and rooms have full kitchens, they include ovens which I use to cook & bake family favorites. The staff is exceptional. Also, breakfast is offered every morning and an enjoyable dinner Monday-Thursday. I highly recommend!
