The hotel is situated a thirty-second walk from the main bus station. There's loads of little food shops, convenience stores and bars in the immediate locale. Within about a five minute walk there are dozens of bars and restaurants - everything from Arab fast food to sit-down, napkin establishments. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the Turkish Occupation Zone, if you wish to visit there. The air-conditioning is very powerful, which is welcome in the summer heat. So powerful that blankets are provided for the beds. The staff are absolutely lovely (it's manned 24 hours) and could not have been more helpful - they even printed out our tickets to the football match we were going to. The room had a refrigerator and a desk, which was really good as myself and my friend were working during our visit. If you're travelling on a budget, I highly recommend it. Clean and safe and central.
