The staff Jeewantha and Shashmika attended to all of our needs and made it a pleasant and a comfortable stay. Place is well kept both inside and out. The location is very close to the town and a lot of attractions. St Andrews is the main hotel and its short walk away.

Exceptional service from our host Jeewantha who fed the wood fire at night in the lounge, answered all our questions, made sure we were well fed and very comfortable in this beautiful, timeless get away. Much nicer than staying in the big hotel, we had personalised service and beautiful accommodation. Easy walk into town for amenities and short tuk tuk rides to the hiking starting points. We had a day and a half and took in a stroll through town to see the old buildings of the Police Station and the Post Office before a drink at the Golf Club. The second day, we hiked to Lovers Leap, descended through the Pedro tea workers housing estate towards Gregory’s Lake. Got distracted and headed to Hill Club for tea on the lawn.

Our most enjoyable stay this year. Pillow's are the fluffiest I went felt. Fireplace was awesome. Food was excellent. Five 🔯 Star service, the Butler Sanath was unique 🙌 Hope to take family back again soon. Leo up the high standards 👏

We spent 2 nights 3 days at Oatlands. A lovely bungalow well maintained. It is like a homely experience for us. It is well located away from busy city but not too far. Just 5 minutes ride to town. On your arrival you will get a delicious soup. There are 4 rooms available and if you are planning to have good time with friends / family this is an ideal place for you. You can get the food either from here or you can just walk to St.Andrews for meals. When you are staying at oatlands , you also get the chance to visit St.Andrews. Rooms are wll maintained and clean. However no Tv available in rooms and you can use the lobby area to watch common Tv (It was not an issue with us at all). We went with my two kids and they had great time here with the freedom they had. You also can experience a fire hearth. Also i must specially mention the service of Buttler Mr. Sanath. He is very friendly and supportive. There is no tea / coffe making facility inside the rooms . However Sanath is always there to give tea/ coffee ordered with a pleasant smile. It is highly admirable his service. Also you can visit carrot / leeks gardens which are maintained by St Andrews team. As a suggestion you can improve aesthetic outside garden area.

We stayed 2 nights in NE at Oatlands. Oatlands is a former cottage attached to the bigger St Andrews Hotel that has bigger tour groups and families so is perfect for couples, though both are on the edge of town. The cottage has a butler who can organise drinks, dinner and even early morning take away breakfasts for tours to Hortons Plain. The rooms can be cold (NE is a cold town) but have good heaters and warm up very quickly. They are in need of some TLC as is the bigger sister hotel, but wasn't the traditional colonial bungalow experience we had hoped for. Without our very helpful butler would have been an average experience. We had afternoon tea at The Grand Hotel which was very pleasant and would have loved to have been there in April for the horse racing at the Turf Club

Nice place to visit on trip to Nuwara Eliya. We travelled Oatlands on our honeymoon trip and it's worth selecting this place. There were only us in the day we stayed here and we have got the largest room out of all. Oatlands is looking after by a gent called "Sanath" and he is very friendly and energetic to work. He has arranged the dinning area with Candle Lights, Garden Picked Flower arrangements too which I was never thought. Arrangements made by him made us so happy and wow effect. Food was delicious and arranged nicely. Special thank to their executive Chef Mr.Dharshana for arranging what we like with in just few minutes without a prior notice. A Special thank to the General Manager Mr. Upul Leukebandara for arranging everything as we wished. We had a wonderful stay at Jetwing Oatlands.

We spent two nights as a couple at Oatlands and were most attentively looked after by Sanath who did everything to ensure we were comfortable. The rooms are cozy, clean and well kept with a beautiful charm. The food is extraordinary - not only displayed with most attention to the detail but also savoury and delicious! We spent one day at the phantastic Horton Plains which are about 45 minutes drive from the hotel. Baseline: highly recommended

Four old school chums and two others spent two nights at this well appointed retreat. We were well looked after by Butler Sanath, who was unobtrusive but pandered to our needs. The food from St. Andrews was well presented, the weather perfect permitting us to breakfast in the garden and we said farewell with promises to come again a 'home away from home'. It was the perfect choice Premala, Fathima, Zahariya and Roshan - January 2022
