Nice room, ok service, nothing remarkable. Clean and convenient, the restaurant has a nice variety and good service. Not much in the way of amenities, but all in all it was quite cosy and comfortable.

The staff the location the food … everything was excellent from the time we arrived until we left. John and Paul were exceptional hosts. The food was second to none. Ella was very attentive. All staff were friendly and professional. The cleanliness of the hotel especially the bedroom was excellent. Thank you to all the staff in Treacys

Stayed in this hotel for a night as a family of three. On check in staff was pleasant, helpful and informative. Used the swimming pool where staff also friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in is in need of renovations overall. The beds were not comfortable. We had food in Timber Toes bar and it was not a nice experience. Food was not nice. There appeared to be a lack of staffing which added stress to the staff team as they were visibly giving out about one another. You order food at the bar and pay before sitting down which caused delays at the bar as appropriate staffing were not on. It all added to a poor dinner experience. Breakfast was also poor, staff not attentive and appeared focused on cleaning up more than helping guests.

Stayed here for one Sunday night as a base to explore the area and I was so delighted I ignored some of the negative reviews. I do agree the hotel needs updating but what’s the point in looting money into somewhere people will just wreck anyways. It’s perfectly fine. The location is perfect on the quays. I secured parking for €4.50 for 12 hours on my return in merchants quay across the road even though I know free parking available a bit away. The room was huge with double and single beds and huge couch. The bed was so cosy and comfortable, the shower was a power shower with instructions of how to use which some hotels don’t have. I sleep with ear plugs anyways so noise didn’t affect me. I didn’t partake of dinner but if breakfast was anything to go by omg is all I’ll say. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this breakfast beat them all. A buffet which should always be the way as you only get what you are going to eat so less waste I’d imagine. Everything was tasty even the tomato and plenty of everything There was even a coffee machine with lattes, espressos and americanos, and a juice machine. They just bring you toast if u want it. U sit where u want which is also a plus. There was live music in the bar which was excellent and I met some lovely fellow travelers. Most definitely will be back and will sample dinner and maybe the leisure facilities this time. All staff were friendly also. Well done and thanks for an amazing stay

Got a great deal on a nights accommodation breakfast and dinner, hotel needs a bit of attention, but the staff made up for it, food was lovely.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Was there with a coach party and found the hotel very rundown and the food left a lot to be desired, especially for a vegetarian. The lady on reception was pleasant enough and I asked if she could pass on my concerns to the manager but unfortunately I did not hear further.

reception were very pleasent, but got given the wrong room, someone already in the room, given another room which was difficult to fine directions not clear and confusing had to carry the bike up steps , and not what i needed after a long days ride but hotel was fine, staff were very pleasent, food was good and the room was good size comfy and clean

Staff were all very friendly. Room, pool, bar and breakfast room are all functional but could do with updating. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. You pay for what you get.
