La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocala

Hotel is in a great location Good, walkable restaurants. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Your hotel desperately needs a face lift. We were on the third floor. The room was nice but the hallways need to completely redone. Hanging wallpaper…not good to look at.

Hall way carpets were filthy and carpet in their room very nasty. Black mold around the edges. Wallpaper falling off the walls in the hallway. The owner needs to step up and make some changes. Get rid of that nasty carpet and put in something that can be cleaned. Housekeeping and front desk staff were wonderful.

The staff was super friendly and prompt with responses. The hotel could use a face lift though. Lots of little things that dates this hotel. Carpet, doors, AC units and fitness equipment all need updated. The pillows are probably 5 years old. TV remote didn't work and interior doors don't close correctly. We stayed at this hotel based on proximity to our event and a previous stay at another LaQuinta. This hotel is no where near as nice as the other LaQuinta we stayed in. We would not stay here again.

Looks like the hotel's been updated and it was very clean and quiet and safe breakfast could be a little better but not bad

The Property outside in general is in need of repair and maintenance and the receptionist need e improved. The room was clean and comfortable.

It is in a nice area close to shopping and restaurants, yet tucked away a little so it is very quiet. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and competent. Rooms were spacious, well kept, very clean and comfortable. The pool facilities were well maintained. Definitely take advantage of the hot tub. I really liked the entire patio area, it was very relaxing. However the landscaping was a bit unruly. The rose bushes in the garden and also leading into the back door of the building were way overgrown and protruding into the sidewalk area a little so you had to watch out for thorns. A little disappointed though. I left a 60 dollar phone charger plugged into the wall next to the bed and called a few hours after we checked out and the maid claimed it wasn't in the room, so either they didn't vacuum that entire side of the room or it magically disappeared. A bit petty to complain about but it was inconvenient to have to buy another one. Finders keepers, I guess. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel room had a stale musty odor. Wall paper was peeling off the walls along the entire 3rd floor. There were also stains all over the carpet. Rooms was in generally good condition besides the smell.

The hotel is dated. The breakfast is nice and hot. The beds are very firm so please be prepared. Its not super uncomfortable but when you get up, your body will remind you that you slept on a firm mattress!
