The cherry blossom season to Hirosaki is really not able to book a room, along the train line all the way to find the big hall. The hotel is very close to the JR station and it takes 5 minutes to walk. The Grand Hall is a very quiet little city, quiet to no convenience stores and few restaurants, but the hotel is very intimate to provide a meal voucher every night, including one night ramen and one dinner, the restaurant has several bookshelf comic books. The breakfast buffet in the morning is very local and very good.

Hotel room is clean and comfortable. They even give one free entrance to the onsen next door. Staff are courteous and welcoming. Only shortcoming is it is located next to a railway crossing and sound proofing is not perfect. So be prepared to be awaken at 2am in the morning due to train crossing.
