Great experience from the start. Very helpful Cast Member at check in, as was all staff we met. Room wasn’t ready, told we would receive a text and email when ready, both of which arrived within minutes. Room spacious and clean and kept that way by housekeeping on alternate days. The coffee/tea facilities came with disposable cups. We had real cups with us as we had the same situation in the hotel we were staying in prior to our visit (not Disney) so bought cheap cups. These were the ideal size to fit the coffee machine. Also bought a small carton of half and half which the drinks cooler kept cold and fresh for our two week stay (along with beers!). The resort is large and sprawling but we were close to a pool with laundry and found a bus stop within a five minute walk. Having read many reviews before our visit we were anticipating great hikes, but it is easily manageable unless you want to walk around the whole complex. The food court provided a good choice overall although we felt the choice of savoury breakfasts was lacking. However, the food we had there was tasty and good quality. Ate at Boatwright’s for dinner one evening. Got booked in that day, but we eat early. Lovely meal and service. Cannot fault. Unfortunately the boat wasn’t running while we were there due to low water levels. Took the bus to Disney Springs which seemed like a long journey, especially on the return when the bus was packed. The bus also went into French Quarter, where we got off to have a look around and have some Beignet. Highly recommend. We walked back to our room which was quite a walk after several hours at Disney Springs, but pleasant. Catch Yeehaw Bob’s show if you can. Great fun.
