"I stayed at the Nehrener Hof while on a business trip to Tübingen and was very happy with my choice. Parking is easy and free, and the hotel has a large and pleasant beer garden with plenty of charm, which seemed to be well frequented by locals too – usually a good sign. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and I thought the prices in the beer garden were perfectly reasonable. By the way, quality of cuisine excellent in my view! My room was very nice and comfortable. There is no air conditioning, although to be fair, this is Germany and we don’t need it for most of the year. Depending on where your room is, sleeping with the window open can also be a little frustrating thanks to the occasional car or motorbike enthusiast apparently feeling the need to demonstrate their acceleration skills when leaving the village. Otherwise, the location is pleasantly rural, with plenty of greenery around, while still being close to the main road for getting into Tübingen or heading elsewhere. Breakfast was simple but perfectly fine. It is served in the large restaurant, which meant it was fairly quiet when I was there – something I personally appreciate in the morning. I’m not a great fan of too much hustle and bustle before the day has properly started. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. A friendly, comfortable and practical base for a business trip to the Tübingen area, with the added bonus of a large and charming beer garden."
