Carpets and floors were filthy, stained. All fernishings were super old. Dishes in kitchen suite were not clean. I will say the sheets and towels were clean but the sheets did not fit the bed. Pillows were so well used they were flat.

If you are looking for a nice beach, and a place for your family to feel at home - this place is great for that. Very chill atmosphere. Can drop anchor from your boat and walk in (up to your hips). Can let your kids run free on scooters and swim in the pool for hours, this is the place. If you like a clean room with housekeeping, a stocked kitchen, no spiders, clean sheets and towels, ice machine, coffee maker - or any of the regular immenities a hotel would have ...this is not the place for you. This was our second stay in 3 years and whoa have things gone downhill. Many of the guests there have been coming for years, and this place definitely attracts a crowd that knows the deal. If you want clean sheets, then you'll have to wait until noon when they put a bin the parking lot for you to exchange yours and take new ones. Once those are gone and you ask for towels the extremely rude owner lady will yell at you that "this isn't a changing room" (not sure what that means) and your basically on your own for clean towels and sheet. The other owner, the man, is grumpy and for sure waiting for the day a developer calls. He already doesn't like you if youve booked with an online site, wants you to call and book with him. Said the ones who book online, get the worst rooms. Its one of the cheapest places on the lake, so you get what you pay for. Our mattress, i'm guessing are from 1974 when they built the place- and have the accompanying stains to go along. These are no queens, doubles at best. Pillows aren't horrible, you get the standard sheet, brown fleece blanket and the top blanket that I wouldn't touch. Kitchen comes complete with 1-3 pans that in their hay day were non stick - circa 2000. Comes with rust and scratches galore. Lucky if there are 3 plates (re clean them...) 2-4 cutlery items. Def bring your own. Outside there are 5 BBQ's that did the trick. Grassy area with picknik tables, but did notice some of guest left their chairs and blankets etc for the week and used them exclusively for their own. Again, very chill. Most of the guests are repeats. Its a good location to walk to town (10 - 15 mins) or 10 mins to Rattlesnake canyon. And right on the beach. If your out all day and not using the beach this is not the place. If you want to sit on your beach chair and watch your 7 kids play and run in the shallow water whilst drinking white claws. Then this place is it. Bring your own bedding, kitchen supplies, and do a solid clean of your own when you get there. Pack for camping, bring everything. Hope this helps!

Checking in was easy. Staff were friendly. Access to the beach, salt swimming pool and spa were fantastic. On the down side; The air conditioners are small and were working full time from the time we turned them on until we left, trying (and not succeeding) to keep the room below 20 degrees. Other guests remarked the same. We did not read the details closely and were disappointed to find no coffee or coffee maker, Ice was available at $5 a bag, and no microwave or clock. Junction 3 coffee house (across the highway, is great). A cross walk nearby would have been preferable. Despite a number of empty rooms, we were placed in an upper room directly facing the sun. All rooms have patio door type entrances directly facing the beds, so you need to keep the curtains closed tight to avoid looky- looos. All in all, the hotel was nice. Cool clean pool. nice beach. access to barbecues and picnic benches. Yes we would stay there again.

The property is in a good location and is right on the beach. The price is right as long as you don’t care about anything else. The suites are not well stocked with dishes ie: no coffee maker in the room. None of the kitchen cabinets closed and the drawer of the stove was broken. The rooms were relatively clean but there was no hot water at all. Most of what out door furniture there was, was in disrepair or broken. A completely unremarkable motel but the price is right and location is great.

The Spanish fiesta was a refreshing, down to earth stay. The hotel is dated but my partner and I didn’t mind. It was a trip back to the past, as you climb the stairs to the upper floors the green Astro-turf floor cover you walk on reminds you of your grandparent’s patio in the 80’s. The light fixtures reminded me of my childhood home, I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. This hotel is very carefree, you can walk to the beach with a drink in hand and nobody is going to hassle you. And I have walked the beach- Spanish Fiesta HANDS DOWN has the nicest beach. You can spend your money on an updated holiday inn with nicer curtains if you want but are you really coming to Osoyoos to just sit in your hotel room? We had a beautiful Easter weekend here: excellent water pressure, the fridge kept our drinks ICE cold, and nobody bothered us or asked any questions. The owners are a no baloney married couple who have had this place for decades!! This is a straight up mom & pop, family run hotel; if supporting local businesses is important to you then this is definitely the place. You won’t swipe a key card to get into your room, it’s an old fashioned key but the doors lock all the same. It is not as fancy as some places in town but the price is affordable and it is chalk full of character. Looking forward to our next visit & making more lovely memories!

This is not a property I would normally stay in but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and quiet. The beds were very hard though. Would I stay again?? Probably not but it was good for what we needed at the time.

The room was dirty, there was a used bar of soap still in the shower that wasn’t clean There was hair hanging from the lamp and sand on the floor I swept the floor myself and cleaned the shower The headboard was not attached to the bed and kept falling onto us and the bed had no fitted sheets and the pillows were terrible I had to ask for 2 more pillows. The pool was dirty I’ve stayed there before and had no real issues but this visit was not good
