LIV Extended Stay

Stayed at LIV Apartments for a 4-day business trip. Initially, the prospect of my stay here seemed promising. The Good: - The LIV Apartments receptionist truly went above and beyond in helping me locate my parking spot. - The service provided by "Good Eats" was very good. The Not-So-Good: - First and foremost, don't let the images on the *********** and TripAdvisor deceive you; those likely showcase the penthouse, not your standard room. Be prepared for a view of the parking lot instead. - Upon arrival, I was informed that I had to pay for a parking spot. While I don't mind paying for parking, it was quite a challenge to find a spot around LIV Apartments. Eventually, with extensive assistance from the receptionist, I found my assigned spot, which was a 5-minute walk from the apartment. - Despite the entrance to the room being labeled as "clean," I found several cleanliness issues. The remote was disgusting, some cupboards had accumulated dust, the floor next to the bed had visible stains, and the couch appeared to have served as a scratching post for a pet at some point. - Although there was a thermostat in the room, it wasn't clear how to operate it. I had to manage the old and noisy AC unit to control the room's temperature. - The bathroom was surprisingly small, one of the tiniest I've encountered in a long time. - The lighting in the apartment was excessively dim, prompting me to request an extra light in the bedroom from the receptionist just to locate my belongings. While my stay at LIV Apartments had its share of positives, these not-so-good aspects made it a less-than-ideal choice for a multi-day stay, especially when compared to other options available in the area.

I stayed in a 1 bedroom . The aircon wasn’t working when I arrived and the first morning I discovered the coffee maker was broken. However, both issues were resolved quickly and professionally so that was a positive. The suite was clean and modern. The concierge put my grocery order in my fridge so it was chilled when I arrived. The gym was fantastic as was the deck !

For a last minute finding in Ottawa during our 4 days stay it was reasonable price and conditions. The bathroom is the size of a plain washroom. The noise is very annoying during night, either from the street or from the neighbors. But the location is convinient, and the outdoors parking($) was not bad.

Stayed here during a family move in to the apartment. Very convenient and well priced. Service awesome. Great for preparing your own food. Beds was comfortable. Very good. Lots of staff available. Everyone very friendly. Seemed very secure. I would recommend.

The bathroom was extremely small and not soundproof. Easily can here the neighbours watching TV. I booked through ******* for an amount higher than the invoice I received from LIV. For the refound, I called but they do not pick up, I wrote emails but they do not reply. I would never return.

I especially the fact that it was a two bedroom suite as opposed to a one room hotel. My wife and I wake up at different times and this allowed me to start my day with a coffee and some tv without waking her. Price was excellent. A dedicated parking spot was nice. The location could have been closer to downtown but I knew this going and I am sure the price would have reflected that. So, basically no complaints and if I am ever in Ottawa again I will be sure to book the same place

The parfume and smell in the hallway are unbearable. Super staff, great value otherwise.

We stayed for 2 nights with family, and enjoyed our stay. The 2-bedroom apartment was clean and spacious enough for 4 people, the only downsides were a table for 2 (!) places only with 2 chairs and a tiny bathroom. Otherwise, we had everything we needed including dishwasher, utensils, plates, etc. No paper towels or Kleenex, so bring your own. Unfortunately, the roof top terrace was closed. Paid parking for $6.50 + tax per night available but we parked on the street without a problem. Check-in/ check-out was fast and problem-free.

Overall the stay was okay. We were very disappointed that we weren’t informed about the fire alarm inspection aswell as the AC. So we were a little frustrated when we were still sleeping and random people were asking to come in. Other then that it was very clean and had everything we needed.
