I loved the simple, rustic charm of this resort set in a richly diverse botanic garden. Surrounded by a babbling brook and a picturesque lake, the rooms have great views, staff are attentive, food great.

We stayed one night while visiting the Bolaven plateau and were enchanted by the rich botanical surroundings and the many cascades and lakes. Excellent food and service. Tastefully decorated wooden buildings. Affected by COVID to recruit staff but we tourists can help them to return to their full glory. Not to be missed.

Very poorly maintained and rundown resort. This once great place to stay is now showing a great lack of upkeep and maintenance over the last few years. Rooms are ok but over rated and over priced for what you get today. Bathrooms are very dated, air conditioners are less than adequate for the climate, the linen is very worn out an not fit for purpose. The room entrance day is ill fitting and hard to one and shut. The lock a 10 year old with a hair pin could open. The bathroom door is very badly fitted at extremely hard to close. The hot water takes minutes to reach the shower head after being turned on. The botanical garden is over grown and shows that there has been no care or maintenance for them for a very, very long time. Not to mention the leeches and mosquitos. I have nothing passive that I can say post COVID about this once great resort. Staff are neither friendly or willing to help. Just avoid.

Magical accommodation in the middle of a beautiful garden and coffee plantation! The staff is very kind and attentive. The food was great too (best curry so far in two months in Asia) . If you ever are discovering the Boloven plateau and want a peaceful night, don't hesitate. It's worth it!

We had a very enjoyable night at this hotel while exploring the Bolaven Plateau. Our room was comfortable but a bit old fashioned and some of the electrics didn’t work. It seemed that they were slowly getting back to normal after Covid. We had a warm welcome and enjoyed the beautiful and extensive grounds. Dinner, cooked by the Manager’s wife was delicious and one of the best we tasted in Southern Laos. Breakfast was simple and tasty.

The exterior is magnificent: lush garden, wooden bungalow that looks amazing but when you enter the room, it's something else. The walls are made of rattan so no soundproofing, small room (difficult to open 2 suitcases), stained sheet, bathroom with shower without tray so we share the shower with the sink and the WC with a drain on the floor but without a squeegee therefore stagnant water, no shower gel, air conditioning but no remote control. Dinner at the hotel, simple but good. No credit card. Breakfast to choose from the menu, correct.

Disappointing hotel restaurant. Impression of neglect, the site would be remarkable if maintained but lots of plastic and various rubbish, dry and dirty swimming pool. The restaurant is of average quality for the price. The room is so-so and little creatures (rats in my opinion) ran around all night on the walls and roofs. In short, move on.

This hotel should be closed, it does not meet the minimum requirements to be habitable. The owner says that tourists don't go there anymore and that's why he doesn't have the money to maintain it. And if you don't make the necessary reforms, obviously no one is going to go. The whiting that bites its tail, what a shame! Everything abandoned and neglected. We were the only ones in the hotel and the employees treated us well, but thank goodness we only stayed one night. I hope they can relaunch it, because it is a nice place

What a beautiful place, too bad it's falling into disrepair!! Very beautiful garden, very flowery. The pool was not working (broken catelles, dirty, no water in the pool). Everything would need maintenance (water infiltration in places) and the paint needs to be refreshed. The evening meal was good and plentiful. Breakfast service good but very slow and disorganized.
