Victoria Hotel and Suites Panama Reviews

During our stay, we noticed the curtains and lampshade in the room were disappointingly dirty. While most staff members were friendly, one front desk staff handled a situation with a soiled pillowcase unprofessionally. Although we were willing to pay $10 each for replacements, addressing the issue by calling us to the front desk instead of discreetly visiting our room was awkward, especially with other guests present in the lobby. Additionally, the room was booked for three guests, so consistently having to request the third towel and coffee cup was extremely inconvenient. Despite these issues, the overall stay was satisfactory.

The room smells bad, the network is very slow, and the meeting is extremely affected.

The hotel is very good. It is located in the center of the city. The service and food are good. It is recommended

Very good excellent location in the center near the train the only thing is the cleaning of the room they did not do well and they also lack more lighting in the room otherwise everything is fine

Facilities excellent, rooms always clean. Very good varied breakfast, the only novelty was presented at the entrance because it did not reflect the reservation, I do not share the alternative solution by the establishment because they demanded a guarantee until the novelty was resolved, value that was refunded on the 3rd day.

In general, the hotel was very nice. It was scrupulously clean, which was very important for our stay. The staff were pleasant and spoke various languages. The only concern was the sense that the property needed some renovation. I would recommend this hotel for someone who wanted a clean room without a lot of frills located in the Cangrejo area of Panama City.

I enjoyed staying here for the convenience and comfort. What I did not like was; I decided to purchase breakfast a morning and it was not good, my husband and myself took one bite and left the food and still had to pay usd26.00 which I was told usd$12.50 for both of us.

I did not like the original room we were place in, however after notifying the front desk the room was change immediately, well done.

The facility is generally very modern and clean. However we were only told at check-in that the pool was being remodeled and we were accommodated at Tryp to use their pool. We asked about compensation as we had to walk over to Tryp which, although it was nice and about 5 mins walk, still was an inconvenience. We were told that we had the option to book elsewhere once we were told about the remodeling of the pool. To be honest, to find a hotel at last minute was not ideal, and I found that comment unfortunate. Apart from that, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, other challenges were quickly resolved. The bar wasn’t as open and accessible as I would’ve liked but there were shops across the street where the drinks were cheap. The breakfast was very decent although the restaurant area seems more like a cafeteria. Overall I would recommend but I hope they address my areas of concern.

Food selection not good. Had to ask for more than 1 wash cloth. No ice bucket in the room. No ice in the ice machine. Additional $75.00 charge if family member or guest visit your room.

Room had a weird smell. Also we paid for breakfast to be included. On the first morning, they opened up 10 min later, okay no big deal things happen. But on our second day there, they opened about an hour late. There was no one there to give an explanation or let anyone know why they were not yet opened. I went down to the lobby to ask what was going on, and they said they had an issue and we were working on it. But there was no estimated time of when it would be open. On that day, we had an excursion planned for which we were being picked up. We were unable to eat, as we had to leave at 7:30am (the breakfast opened up at 7:25am, should’ve been opened since 6:30am). Very unprofessional

This is the best place to stay whenever traveling to Panama. The bed in the accommodation I stayed on this trip was noisy, but I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is quiet and comfortable. The friendliness of the staff is also the best.
