Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa

The water of the water park is dirty. All the facilities are old but well maintained. Overall is fair.

I like this hotel so much..very good environment with good pool and theme park..so many things you can play in the theme park suck as water slide and coconut splash..room is good and big for us..this is my fifth time i came here..sure to come again..😍

The stay was pleasant. Checked in at 1 plus. Just that it’s a busy hotel, a lot of people probably because of school holiday.

Was staying at top floor giving us spectacular view. The room is spacious & clean, more like a homestay rather than hotel. We stayed 2 nights, there was games organised by hotel. It was so fun! There are 4 restaurants , 2 with alcohol served, and 2 without. The price at the Teratai restaurant is quite good with reasonable price. We ordered grab food, the rider send directly to our room instead certain hotel which we need to pickup at lobby. Downside is the distance to water park (im staying at block Q) is quite far, and due to tooo many people, the pool water is not so clean 😅 But dont worry as we still can play at the beach behind lobby or another 2 big pools 🤩 Will be staying here again? Definitely!

We came here for a family trip for 3D2N..we enjoyed the stay very well. Only mishap was my daughter got food poisoning after consuming Fish n chip at teratai followed by Redvelvet muffin. She didn't eat anything else in between. After a few hours, she started vomiting and vomiting non-stop, which was very stressful for us as she never slept the whole night. The next day went to breakfast and after eating just one slice of bread she threw up again. We went and informed the cafe who sold the muffin to check the expiry dates. Staff suggested me to look for the in-house medic. Then we waited for the medic Mr.Praba who came and said they cannot treat in-house but can take to the nearest clinic at the town area. He managed to get a car to bring us to the APM clinic and consulted the doctor. (I thought it's covered by the resort) but it's OK for us to pay for the checkup. Last day was very tiring as my daughter didn't sleep well. Other than this incident we had a good time around. All staffs were friendly and helpful. Suggestions: 1) Please have a standby doctor or a standby clinic facility to help ur guests with urgent needs. 2)Need to have beach umbrella for the guests to relax by the shore. Or atleast should rent it out. 3) Should have some buggy calling facilities in each block entrance to avoid longer waiting time.

Back here after 5 years, the hotel still well maintained. Very much suitable for family holidays. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you Lotus Desaru, till we meet again.

Very nice stay and visit. Kids enjoy the water park.. and the fun play area. Location iams very good.

2nd time staying in this resort, sound proof for the room is good and the room is quiet. If the resort could have some complimentary offer or discount vouchers for repeated customers, will further enhance the loyalty.
