If you ever find yourself choosing between sleeping on the streets of Paris or staying at this so-called “hotel,” take my advice: the streets are far safer, far cleaner, and infinitely more welcoming. This place is the perfect example of how a business should not treat paying guests. The moment you step inside, you’re confronted by an unfriendly, stubborn old man at the door who behaves less like hotel staff and more like someone guarding a parking lot with an attitude problem. In my experience, nothing he says can be trusted. He dismisses reservation details, ignores confirmation documents, and hides behind the same tired excuse: “all rooms are full.” It feels like a deliberate tactic to confuse and frustrate guests. If you’re thinking about making a non-refundable booking here, don’t. They will stick you in the worst possible room—dark, filthy, and facing some depressing back area. When you point out that your reservation clearly states something different, like a “city view room,” they simply deny such rooms exist. It’s absurd and insulting. Families should stay as far away as possible. The place is dark, unsettling, and shockingly unhygienic. After stepping out of the elevator, you’re forced to climb a pitch-black staircase that feels downright dangerous. My child could have easily fallen—it’s that poorly maintained and poorly lit. The staff’s English is barely functional, and they show absolutely no interest in helping, understanding, or caring about guests who come from abroad for tourism. Professionalism and hospitality are nonexistent here. I’ve stayed in many hotels in this area over the years, and booking this one was a last resort only because everywhere else was full. It was a mistake I will never repeat. I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid this hotel altogether. There are far better, cleaner, and more affordable places nearby—this one shouldn’t even be on your list.

Small boutique hotel close to station and within easy access to main sites. They really catered for our family. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was good value for money and very comfortable.

All in all, ok, the location and hotel aren't bad. The only issue I had, was that on the first day of my stay, there was no hot water, and I had to wait until the evening to get it running, A cold shower in the morning on a cold day was not what I looked forward to waking up.
