I rarely leave reviews, but this guesthouse is truly one of the best I've ever stayed at. It's located right in the middle of the ancient town, making it convenient to go anywhere, yet it's not noisy. The environment is also quite beautiful, and the courtyard is kept very clean. The owner is an exceptionally good driver. She navigated the narrow alleys of the ancient town with ease, while we were all on edge. She was also very welcoming; every day when we returned from our activities, she would invite us to sit down for tea and offer us food, treating us like family. The housekeeper was also exceptionally kind and attentive. She immediately took care of anything we needed, preparing breakfast for us in the morning and helping us with our luggage. She truly put her heart into serving her guests. The breakfast was absolutely superb, with a different menu every day, a well-balanced mix of meat and vegetables, ensuring we were both full and satisfied. The rice noodles were unforgettable, and the rice noodle soup was delicious too. In the evenings, after a tiring day of sightseeing, she would even prepare hot spring water for us to soak in, which was incredibly relaxing. Honestly, staying here didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like visiting a friend's house. The owner recommended some restaurants and attractions, and we tried them all – they were really good, no rip-offs. We even borrowed the owner's lobby to order takeout, which was a really nice experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the ancient town. Highly recommend!!! This place is hassle-free and has a friendly atmosphere. We booked for four nights and had a great experience every day. The owner is incredibly honest and even picked us up in his car. My family and I are all a bit of a germaphobe, but this place was perfect for us! The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. However, the view from the window of the room I booked wasn't great, so if that bothers you, think twice. But for me, it didn't matter since we were out exploring during the day anyway. The breakfast was really good. A bowl of rice noodles every day was so delicious! We didn't have to go out to eat, and no matter what time we got up, the owner would still make it for us without ever asking. The owner is also very generous, constantly offering fruit and snacks, even if you don't want them. He tells you which roads are easy to navigate and which places to avoid before you go out, and you can listen without question. It's so sweet! In short, I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

I have to give this guesthouse a huge shout-out! Seriously and without exaggeration, the overall experience was truly first-class. Starting with the facilities and the overall stay, the owner initially wanted to upgrade us to a larger suite, but after looking around, we preferred the second-floor room. Our single room was also very spacious; we immediately lay down as soon as we entered, haha, it was so comfortable! All the rooms are in the courtyard, and the public and private facilities are completely separate. The public facilities are a separate building, with a dedicated laundry room, coffee bar, bar, a balcony for relaxation, and a rooftop dining area—the facilities are all very complete. You could easily spend a whole day there! 😂 The guesthouse owner also keeps 5... So many adorable cats 😺😺, each one chubby and incredibly endearing. As a cat lover, I absolutely adore them! I get to pet them every day 😻😻 👏Even better, the guesthouse owner is incredibly kind and friendly. She warmly recommended and arranged our itinerary for the next few days. She's such a chatty lady [smirk]. When we asked her any questions on WeChat, she answered very quickly and thoughtfully inquired about our daily plans. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The breakfast was also very generous, and the auntie's rice noodles were especially delicious. I highly recommend it! The most satisfying two nights in Yunnan, I am more used to staying in hotels, but Fengli B&B is indeed the right choice! Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered. Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ～ Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning ＋ wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service. Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.～ Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

There are also guests from all over the place to chat. I can't see the yellow leaves, and I feel full. Slow life in the ancient city, meet new friends, feel the fireworks on earth.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Tengchong. The location is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and open fields, so it feels peaceful and secluded without being too far from the main attractions. Waking up to misty mountain views every morning was such a treat. The biggest reason I booked this place was the private hot spring, and it did not disappoint. The hot spring water comes directly from Rehai and is available 24/7. Having a private soaking pool in the courtyard was amazing—completely private, quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. After visiting Rehai and the surrounding attractions, soaking in the warm mineral water felt incredibly relaxing. My muscles felt less sore, and I slept so well afterward. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and even the toiletries felt high quality. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh local fruit, and they took the time to explain how to use the hot spring and recommend places to visit nearby. They were always quick to help whenever we had questions. Breakfast here was delicious, with local Tengchong specialties like freshly cooked rice noodles and eggs. There’s also a nice spot to grab coffee and relax around the property. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or bringing your parents for a relaxing wellness getaway, I would definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to Tengchong, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom facilities were a bit outdated. It's located on the edge of the ancient town, a bit far from the main area, so it's not recommended for elderly people with mobility issues. It's fine for young people, and you can even take a walk around Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs were okay, but perhaps because we went during the off-season, there were only two pools available, so the experience wasn't great when it was crowded. I highly recommend the nearby ”Mama's Taste” restaurant – it's incredibly delicious!

The room is clean and hygienic, and the first floor is equipped with a washing machine for passengers to use. The sunset seen from the observation deck is beautiful. The proprietress has a bold personality and is hospitable. The aunt will go to the entrance of the scenic spot to help run the plums. Full of experience, cost-effective, very satisfied.

The hotel is a great location and excellent service. The rooms are five-star linen standard, daily deep cleaning and disinfection to ensure hygiene, memory cotton mattresses and silent air conditioning to improve sleep quality. The breakfast buffet covers more than 30 local specialties and freshly ground coffee is served all day. The hotel is equipped with an intelligent check-in system and professional service team, and the response efficiency is at the forefront of the area. Since the average daily occupancy rate of the room exceeds 90%, it is recommended to book at least 3 weeks in advance. With panoramic views of the city, the panoramic terrace is ideal for business travelers and family travelers.

We booked two rooms. Upon checking in, we found that the toiletries were not complete. The bar soap, comb, toothbrush and shaving kit were missing in one of the rooms. The toilet paper was apparently not topped up and ran out in half a day. One of the towels smelled of cigarette smoke. Room make-up service needs improvement as well. Although towels were replaced, the beds were not made. Used cups were also not replaced. Breakfast was buffet-style on the first day. Coffee was not provided. The only beverages provided were milk and coffee berry tea. On the second day, the breakfast was given as a set, not buffet style, even though it was stated on Trip.com that the breakfast is buffet-style. Each of us received a bowl of rice noodles, a hard-boiled egg, a mantou, a piece of corn, a pack of biscuit and a glass of milk. I asked if peanuts can be given as part of the condiments for the rice noodles as there were peanuts on the first day. The response was that peanuts are only given for buffet-style breakfast.
