Guest UserTaking advantage of the fewer crowds before the May Day holiday, we planned our trip to Zhonglu ******* Village and found this guesthouse to be incredibly comfortable. We arrived from Chengdu in the evening, and the owner was very welcoming and arranged our accommodations perfectly. The third floor of the guesthouse has a spacious viewing platform where you can enjoy a whole expanse of starry sky all to yourself; the fourth floor faces Mount Mordo directly, offering a superb view! We were well taken care of as a group of two; the owner proactively asked about our needs and even recommended we try the local butter tea at breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality, and best wishes for your continued success!

I originally booked another hotel but it was fully booked, so I booked this one and was very satisfied. It seems that I made the right decision. There is a small museum inside, and the hotel itself is a landscape. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and introduced it in detail! The auntie who cooked was also very good, and there was a cat named Joy who was so cute. Next time I go to Seda, I will stay for one night and go to see Joy. Like

This B&B was my favorite during my trip to western Sichuan. Every detail was meticulously appointed, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner were fantastic! The owner and his family were not only warm and welcoming, but also seasoned travelers, offering us first-time visitors to western Sichuan plenty of excellent advice. The owner and his wife especially enjoyed drinking tea and reading, which perfectly matched the B&B's name!

cavassinWords are not enough to describe my experience here.
Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable.
Thank you for your kindness and for looking after me!

Guest UserMy husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay in this hostel. Upon check-in, the hostel automatically upgraded our room to the next bigger size, without any additional charge. The room is super clean with perfect white sheets and towels. The hostess then introduced us to hike up from her hostel. The hike was easy with a few mooing cows walked past us, and the historic trees were just amazingly beautiful, not to mention the thousand-year's old towers to admire for. After the hike, we then sat down comfortably in the dining room to enjoy a simple but tasteful home-cooked meal. That night, I slept the best and longest during my entire 6-day's trip. Next morning, after a bowl of hot noodles with eggs and veggies, the hostess invited us to walk up to her own tower and even offered to take photos for us from the best spot.
I highly recommended this hostel.

Guest UserIt is a cheap room in a beautiful place. It is very clean. The location is really beautiful. As a homestay it isn't ideal for people without transport. There is basically nothing around so you are quite reliant on the hosts for everything. But you have to ask for everything. I felt like quite a nuisance most of the time. But the mothers beef noodle soup and omelette were really excellent!
They have hosted many foreigners before. Despite this communication is quite poor. The owner has WeChat so he should provide his number to guests so they can add him before they arrive. That way they can easily figure out the logistics of how to get here. Having said that once I did add the owner he was responsive and helpful.

I had the most amazing stay during my time in China! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed with blessings from the grandmother and a cup of fresh milk. They even upgraded my room without me asking.
Since I had limited time in town, I asked the host to guide me—and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days of my entire trip. He brought me to stunning scenic spots, temples, and towers, and we shared an unforgettable dinner. The entire family was incredibly kind and made sure I felt at home every moment.
The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is perfect—close to the bus station and surrounded by great restaurants. Don’t miss the chance to join the locals dancing in the square nearby!
I couldn’t recommend this place more. Truly an experience to remember.

We arrived late in the afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace looking out over the Zhonglu village and valley floor below. We were greeted by two golden labs that accompanied us as we strolled through the village experiencing the local culture and cuisine. Dinner was excellent, with a hot pot chicken soup with fresh vegetables as well as a delicious egg dish cook cooked in a rich, savory tomato sauce. In the morning, we enjoyed exploring the village and chatting with the locals as well as watching a local fellow building a new house. It was interesting to watch him work, carving the wood into ceiling panels that he hung without any nails or glue. We were also invited to pick as many plums as we could eat from a tree that was simply exploding with ripe juicy plums!

We had the most pleasant stay here. The guesthouse was a little hard to find in the dark, so the owner came outside to the parking to pick us up and even carried my bag. He was very welcoming, considerate and helpful during our stay. We had everything we needed, the room was beautifully decorated and clean. The provided traditional breakfast was outstanding (corn bread, rice porridge, cooked eggplant, cucumber salad and sour cabbage)! Most of the ingredients come fresh out of the garden. There is also a menu with many other delicious dishes that you can order for lunch and dinner. When we left, the owner organized the transport for us back to Danba and took us to the ”station”. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful guesthouse and gorgeous little town Jiaju!

Guest UserI stayed here during a time in which water was missing in the whole city but the host was very kind and made all efforts to make my stay comfortable, bringing buckets of water to the rooms and notifying when water was available for the showers. She also speaks English and helped me to plan my trip.
The structure itself is well maintained, nice and close to the bus station, I definitely recommend it.
