Danba Hotels with Bars

This B&B was my favorite during my trip to western Sichuan. Every detail was meticulously appointed, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner were fantastic! The owner and his family were not only warm and welcoming, but also seasoned travelers, offering us first-time visitors to western Sichuan plenty of excellent advice. The owner and his wife especially enjoyed drinking tea and reading, which perfectly matched the B&B's name!

My second visit to Huaye truly felt like home. Although Jiaju ******* Village boasts a reputation as one of the most beautiful villages, it was only after living in Huaye that I truly developed a deep and lasting connection with it. I love so many things here: the two playful golden retrievers, Zhaocai Jinbao (though I can't really handle Zhaocai's enthusiasm; Jinbao is more thoughtful, haha), the adorable black cat Luna, the socially anxious Miaomiao, the like-minded Xiaohua and Xiaoye, and the ever-girly Auntie, the incredibly cool bar converted from a cowshed (I'd call it a must-see in Jiaju), the Jiaju sunshine, and sipping Xiaoye's hand-poured coffee while admiring the breathtaking mountains... Perhaps everyone encounters breathtaking scenery and luxurious experiences during their travels, but only a few truly refresh the filter in their minds and build up the energy for the next destination. I look forward to seeing you again in beautiful autumn.

Our history was very kind. He cooked a delicious dinner for us for a small cost. Our room was clean and nice. The view remarkable. He hiked with us over the mountain to the next village the next day, which was a beautiful but tough hike. It is quite high altitude. I can really recommend the place!

We arrived late in the afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace looking out over the Zhonglu village and valley floor below. We were greeted by two golden labs that accompanied us as we strolled through the village experiencing the local culture and cuisine. Dinner was excellent, with a hot pot chicken soup with fresh vegetables as well as a delicious egg dish cook cooked in a rich, savory tomato sauce. In the morning, we enjoyed exploring the village and chatting with the locals as well as watching a local fellow building a new house. It was interesting to watch him work, carving the wood into ceiling panels that he hung without any nails or glue. We were also invited to pick as many plums as we could eat from a tree that was simply exploding with ripe juicy plums!

I saw a friend stay at this hotel on WeChat Moments several years ago, and seeing the price of Queen's Castle skyrocket, we decided to stay here this time since we were passing by. Service: The landlady was very busy, but she upgraded our room upon arrival. The staff's attitude and service were generally so-so; they didn't proactively help with luggage and were always rushing around, but it wasn't too bad. Location: At the very top, the view is fantastic, but not ideal for drivers. New drivers or those with small 1.4T cars should proceed with caution. However, our drone was quite efficient, providing a panoramic view. Facilities: The rooms and decor were very unique, but there was no air conditioning or heating. However, there were electric blankets, so it wasn't cold. The only downside was the extremely smelly toilet. This definitely needs to be addressed, otherwise, it wastes such a beautiful view. Food: Dinner was nothing special. The portions were huge, so order accordingly. Overall, the view is excellent.

The butler upgraded us to a loft room with a bathtub. It's a Tibetan-style building, and the interior decor also has a ******* flair. You can step directly from the second floor onto a huge outdoor terrace to enjoy the views. The room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The scenery of the ******* village is beautiful, and the food was delicious. This was the best place to stay during our entire trip through Western Sichuan with no altitude sickness. Highly recommended!

Arro Khampa, a gentle greeting from the Tea Horse Road. Tucked away in the Jiaju ******* Village mountains, stone-built ******* houses are scattered across the hillside, with prayer flags fluttering in the wind. In the morning, clouds drift over the village, and at night, a sky full of stars greets you. There's no excessive commercialization here; Jiarong handicraft details are visible everywhere. You can gaze at the sacred mountains from your room, enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace, and chat by the fireplace, slowing down to experience the unique tranquility of the ******* region. The service strikes the perfect balance – gentle yet attentive. If you're looking for a secluded getaway, this is the ideal spot.

From Jinchuan to Danba, I chose Jiarong Academy B&B. The hotel is located on the mountain, which is quite convenient for self-driving people. The parking lot is very convenient at the door. The front desk lady will greet you after you park. The service is good. The room view is very good, and you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The room area is not large. It has its own restaurant. We did not go out to find it, but solved it directly in their restaurant. The breakfast is basically OK for those who are not demanding. The mountain air is fresh in the morning, which makes people feel comfortable.

Everyone was warm, attentive, and meticulous in every detail. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, the staff proactively helped with our luggage, providing thoughtful and meticulous service throughout, so we didn't have to do anything ourselves. During check-in, they patiently explained the hotel facilities and nearby tourist attractions, responding instantly to any questions. During our stay, they were always there for us when we needed anything extra, with a gentle and patient attitude that made us feel incredibly warm. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary ******* clothing experience and helped us choose accessories, making for amazing photos. The hotel environment is also exceptional, a perfect blend of ******* style and modern luxury. The white-walled, colorful buildings are arranged in a charming, staggered pattern, and the windows offer panoramic views of Jiaju ******* Village and the snow-capped mountains – a truly breathtaking sight. The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the entire room had underfloor heating and a humidifier, making it incredibly comfortable even at high altitudes. The private hot spring bath was clean and private; soaking in the warm water while gazing at the snow-capped mountains instantly soothed travel fatigue. Cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless. The bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet and a smart toilet, exuding a high-quality feel. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, warm and comforting, including authentic yak hot pot and other local specialties. The facilities were comprehensive, with free parking, a laundry room, and a fitness area, making it extremely convenient for getting around. This stay was perfect. The service was impeccable, and the environment was breathtaking. It's a must-stay hotel in Danba! I've already highly recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Danba. I'll definitely stay here again! 💯

It is inevitable that there will be accidents during the journey, but the way the homestay responds is reassuring. Our self-driving tires are a bit of gas. After asking the boss for help, he immediately found the gas pump to help inflate, and carefully checked the tire pressure. The homestay is located within the Jiaju Tibetan Village scenic spot, the scenery is excellent, and it is very convenient to enter and exit. Friends in the same group had a little altitude sickness, and the clerk immediately provided Rhodiola tea and oxygen bottles. The most moving thing was that after checking out, I found that the charger was in the room. After contacting them, the clerk immediately said that he could help mail it home. This unprejudiced and responsible attitude provides a solid backing for our journey.
