They had no problems registering foreigners. rooms are spacious and clean, loved the cartoon feature for children. breakfast is what you would expect so far from big cities, tasty but more Chinese than western. Over all a very good stay, recommended if resting in the area before continuing your trip. So many different things to do around here you probably need more than 1 night.

Friends were very satisfied with eating and living, and stayed for another night. The location of the Han and Tang hotels is very good, across the river from the ancient city, and convenient to the surrounding scenic spots.
