We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stafford Guest House. The property is beautiful, set within peaceful surroundings and complemented by a lovely garden. We stayed in the four-poster bedroom, which was spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly balanced comfort with a touch of luxury. It also offered delightful views overlooking the garden. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, providing engaging conversation as well as helpful local recommendations. Everything was clearly explained upon arrival, making the entire experience smooth and effortless from the very beginning. Breakfast was both delicious and generous in portion. Additionally, there is a charming village pub just a short walk away — The Boot & Shoe Inn — which added to the experience. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Host Vickie of Abbey House B&B definitely made our first trip to Penrith a truly memorable experience. She was prompt with our pre-arrival queries. We love our suite with the ”Thoughtful Drawer”, bathrobes and delicious breakfast spread. Bonus is also its convenient location to train and bus stations for day trip to Lake District as well as walking distance to village squares with quaint local-owned artisanal shops, markets, and diners. We wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Thanks Vickie! ❤️

My family and I recently stayed in the family room, and we had a wonderful experience. The room itself was incredibly spacious with excellent ventilation, making it feel bright and airy. The host was exceptionally friendly, and we truly enjoyed chatting with her throughout our stay. A huge highlight was the breakfast - not only was it delicious, but it was also beautifully presented! We also loved that there is a dedicated social space stocked with books and games, which was perfect for the family. Outside, there's a large driveway and lovely outdoor benches where you can sit and enjoy the sun. Plus, as a massive bonus, the accommodation is completely dog-friendly! We highly recommend this place and would love to return.

We had a wonderful time at Lane Head Farm Country Guest House. We stayed in a beautiful room with a four-poster bed. The views are stunning and the service was excellent.

Love the location, the views from the hotel & dining room. The restaurant was good, young inexperienced staff that very very nice but a little clumsy. Checkin receptionist was very curt, but check out person the following day was lovely. All in all, loved staying here again. Beautifully peaceful

The room was freezing! The heating only came on for a couple of hours. The room was ok comfy bedding, not worth £175 though. The shower made a squealing noise and the bath tap dripped all night. Breakfast alright (beans were cold). The staff at the bar and restaurant were commendable.

Convenient check-in: The hotel does not have a front desk, and the bar restaurant is connected to the front desk ～ You need to wait for check-in when the staff is busy. Facilities: There are all that should be there, but combs and toothbrushes are not available and you need to bring them yourself. Hygienic: The room given at the beginning was very small, the floor was not flat, and it was not clean, especially the cups and coffee maker. But the reaction was to the little brother at the front desk and immediately changed to a better and large room. The service was very good. This is very satisfactory. Environment: The environment is very good, the car is very convenient, and it is right by the lake, the scenery is very good, suitable for guests who relax and go hiking.

Express Hotel Dog Day I was caught by a slip on the road, the car was detained for a day, and I found a hotel on occasion
