Melissa Beach Villas is worth every penny. The service from the staff is impeccable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very well decorated. Everything you would need is supplied within the room. The grounds are lovely with 2 pools. One is fresh water and the other salted. We celebrated our drivers birthday with a traditional Sri Lankan dinner menu which was was delicious. We requested a cake with a candle and the staff delivered as required. We dined out under the gazebo which was lovely with the sound of the waves and a cool breeze. Breakfast was superb and so very tasty. I would rate a 12/10 if this was possible. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

We had an amazing stay! A special shout-out to the incredible food: we opted for the half-board meals, and every dish was delicious, expertly prepared, and offered with a fantastic variety. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the flavors and presentation exceeded our expectations. The service was absolutely brilliant—every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our experience unforgettable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive care during meals, the personnel truly went above and beyond. The spa treatments were the cherry on top of our stay. The facilities were immaculate, the atmosphere serene, and the therapists highly skilled. It was the perfect way to unwind and feel completely pampered. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an exceptional getaway!

The hotel has a convenient location, clean rooms, a large swimming pool, and is close to the beach. There are also plenty of shops nearby to explore. The rooms are a bit on the small side, so for larger groups, it might be better to book multiple rooms. Be sure to get to the hotel breakfast early, as it gets incredibly crowded!

Four people booked two rooms. This one is on the first floor. The facilities are average, but they are air-conditioned. They ordered the whale watching boat ticket from the boss the next day. The ticket was handed to the driver. The driver changed the cruise ship and made a difference.

На втором этаже есть балконы.Вкусный завтрак, за 14 дней повторений не было. Расположена на горке, поэтому с океана всегда лёгкий бриз. Немного на удалении от центра, поэтому тихо, бегают обезьяны и павлины. В пешей доступности три пляжа с разной инфраструктурой, две семейных кафешки с местной домашней кухней и соками. Нам очень понравилось.

We had a wonderful time at W15 in Weligama. The hotel is right by the beach, so we could hear the waves and enjoy the ocean view every day. It’s a stylish and clean place, with a calm and peaceful feeling that made me feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. The staff were super kind and helpful. They always made sure we were comfortable. Our room was cozy and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was the pool. The views were stunning. The hotel is definitely a great spot for surfing, chilling, or just watching the sunset. W15 is a wonderful choice for your trip to Weligama.

Excellent little spot by the beach, in our opinion this end of the beach was much nicer than the main Dikwella bay. Clean, calm and quiet - everything you could ask for. The hotel has private sun loungers which are always empty and available. The hotel food is great, the pizza is cheap and absolutely amazing. We tried surf lessons with an excellent surf school next door which was great fun. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean - totally fine. Hiriketiya is just 5 minutes down the road in a Tuk Tuk and to be honest this beachfront is much nicer than Hiriketiya which we found busy, touristy and dirty - but there are some great cafes, shops and restaurants to head over for in the evening or morning. Casa Smeralda staff were helpful and attentive - they always went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful, calm beach hotel to relax in! Side note: delivery apps did not work to this location but there are plenty of local restaurants to walk to.

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

Excellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges. Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast. Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast. Very nice staff. Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.

A cute little hotel right on the beach. Super nice view. The room looked really great, with a few minor issues in the bathroom (leaking pipe under the sink, leaky shower wall) that we could overlook. All the staff were super nice, helpful and courteous. The tuk tuk takes you to the beautiful Mirissa Beach in 2 minutes. We were very satisfied.
