Castello di Ristonchi

We went for a friends wedding weekend and it was the most magical wedding I have ever been to. They really do an amazing job at integrating both the bride and grooms guests with delicious pasta and pizza making and activities by the pool so that everyone is friends by the end of the weekend. The food served is superb and they are sensitive to any allergy or food requirements (my gluten free pasta was better than anything I’ve ever tasted). The castle is from a fairy tale. The whole wedding reminded me of every girls dream of having a fairy tale wedding!

We stayed at the Castello di Ristonchi for a wedding weekend and it was magical! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating of all the guests. The food was INCREDIBLE, as well as the setting itself. Everything was clean and ready for guests when we arrived and we felt incredibly welcomed the first second we got there.

Just returned from a fantastic stay. We had our daughter’s wedding there at the chapel and spent four days with our family and friends…50 in total. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was great. Pool was fun. Outside areas had beautiful views. Only suggestion would be to bring some bug repellent. Not a huge bug problem but there were some around. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Just arrived back from the most incredibly special weekend with friends at Castello di Ristonchi. Not sure where to begin really. Rasmus, Stefanie and their staff are brilliant. The Tuscan hillside setting and castle itself are stunning, with a open-air pool overlooking a spectacular vista scattered with olive groves. We had a genuinely fascinating farm tour from Rasmus (clearly a very knowledgable, creative and at times quite drily hilarious guy); sampled the home-made organic olive oil and beer, had pizza- and pasta making classes which were great fun, a club night in their very own rave cave... and then there was a traditional multi-course Tuscan meal overlooking the hillsides, an experience that I can't even begin to descibe here. Perhaps in keeping with the eco-conscious vibe, the rooms are a little rustic, but we did little more than sleep in them as there is so much to do around the grounds. Every detail in the way the place was run felt friendly, thoughtful and generous. Something I'd really like to highlight is that my wife, a vegetarian with a nut allergy - who as you'd imagine frequently has limited menu choices - had food specially made just for her at pretty much every meal. And I mean - really, really good food. It was one of several jaw-dropping moments over the weekend - we can't recall a time that we've seen such thoughtfulness from kitchen staff and it really made her feel looked-after. A special thank-you for that. It feels churlish to comment on anything negative after all that, so I'll just say *cough* pack your mosquito spray *cough* and book your trip! Amazing experience, 10/10.

What an amazing time and experience. Hosts have created a truly special place with a Fantastic message about humanity and dreams. Views from the pool are incredible as well as the local wine and property made craft beer and olive oil. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. There is no AC so keep that in mind but we didn't have any issues with the cool nights in early September. The rooms are rustic, but very functional and you will not be in them with all the beautiful places on the property.! I would love to come here again in the future.

Don’t expect a typical chain hotel. This experience is so much better. Beautiful views, gorgeous castle, and great food/drink. It’s an amazing castle with welcoming and knowledgeable owners. We came for a couples event but will be returning with our family.

Went for a wedding and it is one that no one will ever forget. Amazing staff and one of the most picturesque places I’ve stayed. Every moment was special from the pizza making to the pasta class to the gelato cart to the subsets.

Set among the Tuscan hills - Ristonchi offers the best of past and present. Amazingly friendly staff, delicious food, unbelievably beautiful setting. Take the bikes for a ride, go for a hike, lounge by the pool all in the shade of a 1000 year old castle

Our stay was incredible! The views and grounds were enough to think you were in paradise. What really made the weekend special was the hospitality from the entire team at Ristonchi! The planned events were all so thoughtful and the food was absolutely delicious! My favorite part was celebrating the love of two friends surrounded by the Tuscan sun! Would recommend this place over and over again for a magical weekend in the hills of Tuscany. I cannot wait to come back!
