Garden City Hotel

Nice hotel but no staff were outside the main lobby. The pool was unsupervised and the sauna and spa were closed. The staff were very nice but the place is in the middle of nowhere. If it’s just a golf trip it might be worth it.

Value for money

I literally love the room especially their golf view are highly appreciated to see outside view from city center. Nice location next to Cambodia new stadium and close to big water park. Spend one night beside from city center was great

This is a fabulous hotel. The foyer is marble and truly magnificent. The rooms are so big and wonderful. The views we had were overlooking the golf course. The front desk staff are excellent and couldn’t do enough to help you. The only thing is that we were the only people staying at this massive resort. The hotel is about 18 km from Phomn Penh which is too far out when you like to explore. To visit the killing fields and S21 prison we had to get the staff to arrange a taxi to take us to both of these sites and it cost $100. Another day to visit the market and other places we had to book another taxi at a cost of $50 There is also a magnificent golf course at this hotel and is very well used. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was different in that we were the only two there for it. So breakfast was made to order. Sometimes they didn’t have what we were looking for. As we were so far away from the city we had to have dinner too. Again the only two people in the dining room. But I must say this was not the hotels fault but maybe our travel agent should not have booked us in here? The swimming pools are beautiful and again we used these on our own, with no one else here! I think the hotel will be very busy when the Asian games come to Cambodia.
