I was very happy with our partial ocean front view room, we had a great view from our balcony. The room was spacious, light, well decorated, clean and comfortable. The hotel has several outdoor seating areas for guests with comfortable furniture and fire features. I would return again in a heartbeat!

I stayed at Spyglass Inn with my 11 yo daughter, my cousin, and her 10 yo. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and pool and we really LOVED the fire pit area. It was so beautiful outside with the flowers, the view and walking path. We got to make smores and watch the sunset! We did have an incident with our initial room where there were a bunch of gnats or flies, but the hotel staff responded quickly and moved our room. This was a bummer because that room felt more updated and had partial ocean view. We ended up in a lower level room with a nice back patio. It wasn't as updated as the first room, but it was still nice and did what we needed it too, which was to provide us a comfortable place to sleep. The room was bug free and there was enough space for the four of us. I wouldn't say it was the best room we've ever been in but overall it was fine. There is a portable fan, wifi, small fridge, desk, and chair, drawers for clothes if needed, and a tv. The TV was terrible quality BUT who needs a tv while you're on vacation anyways lol Lastly, it was quiet for us. We had no issues with noise. They have a microwave in the lobby and some free refreshments (coffee, tea, water). You can also purchase snacks from them. We would stay again specifically for the customer service and the outside fire pit area. Also, parking was included which was very much appreciated.

The food was not good. There were other guests smoking ********* both nights we stayed and the smoke lingered into our room. I was very disappointed that the hotel staff did not intervene and implement the no smoking policy they have posted all over the hotel. There were a lot of children staying at the hotel, it’s unfortunate that they had to be there with all of that smoke down halls across from the pool.

This is a very nice hotel but much better suited to families than a couple looking for quiet. The rooms are set very close and surrounding the pool so there’s a lot of noise on the weekends. (I have no issue with kids - this was my lack of due diligence reading former reviews.) Also having just come from an ocean view hotel in Santa Barbara which was as nice or nicer tan this one, we feel the hotel is highly overpriced.

The hotel is ideal for taking a break here on Highway 1. The location is right on the pismo beach, facing the sea, and the surrounding area is a small town. It is very convenient to eat and buy small things. The motel looks simple, but it is new and the room size is good. Parking is valet parking, the price is included in the hotel tourist tax. The disadvantage is that there are no slippers. When we asked, the front desk said that many people had asked, so it was very strange since everyone has needs, why not improve it?

Very typical motel. But the conditions are very good. The scale is quite large, the terrace has a terrace, and a simple breakfast is available. The type is just right. You can park it downstairs, parking is free, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The room is very good, with a mini kitchen, a coffee machine, a microwave and a small refrigerator. The bathroom towels are also delicately stacked, and in general it is good on the road.

Perfect stay with a good sea view in the evening, comfy bedding, large room space, smart tv and good service. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay on your road trip. It would be even nicer if I could have arrived early( I arrived around 8pm and didn’t have much time enjoying the hot tub and the beach) and morning view was foggy. Breakfast was okay (i thought that would be some meats). Overall I love this place a lot!!! (Oh also the room price dropped around $60 three days before i arrived so I rebooked it make sure you check the price when your trip is approaching) 这个酒店的电视可以投屏真的很不错！！

Super good, suitable for a family, especially a family with children, vacation on the beach: There are playgrounds for children to play with more facilities, such as table tennis, badminton, slides, etc. The swimming pool is also good, that is, there have always been two wild ducks coming to swim. Since it is a suite, it is basically 2 rooms. The room we stayed in had 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony with partial sea views. There is a lot of space and there is no problem with the family.
