The service was great. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The resort itself was beautiful and very nice. The food wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t terrible either. Great drinks.

This is the best value in Playa Del Carmen. The best bang for the buck especially if you’re booking on this app. Good food. Steak restaurant is great too. Everything is clean and modern although not the newest hotel. This is our go to hotel. Only complaint is they stopped including the premium tequila (Don Julio) in the all inclusive

The best hotel in my life

The restaurants at this resort were excellent. The food was great. The food options during the day at the poolside were excellent.The pool activities were fun and the night time shows at the theater and on the plaza were creative.

Room smelled of mildew. Floors and premises slippy. Went to brush teeth one morning .. slipped and fell. Now have to get fluid removed from knee… the best was they wanted to charge for a wheelchair to get food. Most staff .. could not speak English. Food was “ vial” may I mention I’m not a foodie. I heard and saw more injured than I. Most afraid to file complaint because maybe had a few drinks. You better tip of you will wait for your drink,. I think a tipping out of control when management allow tip jars at Buffer. I believe this to be unacceptable. Used “ filthy “ bathrooms in both pool and bar areas. By pool not only to much water on floor … but three days not even a light bulb. I have been to Mexico more than 10 times. Pay extra and go to a far better experience. I feel like I wasted a lot of money. I will say “Irene” at front desk was amazing and other staff could benefit from her ability to try and make things right.because of bleeding on sheets .. they were never changed the whole time I was there. Bell hood will tell you the 3 low lass alcohol in room are “ free”.. don’t insult me.. we paid a lot of money for our all inclusive. No new beach towels the whole time. Bad taste in my mouth… enough to never return to Mexico again. “ Greed will the ruination”

We found the staff (waiters, hosts, reception, and sometimes bar tenders) to be quite rude, unfriendly, and uninviting at times. The entertainment staff were lovely and super engaging. We also found the constant marketing around the resort and on the beach a little overwhelming and unrelaxing. The resort it’s self was beautiful and full of wildlife and greenery. The beach bar/grill has pretty basic food but we found it the best. The buffet is confusing but a lot of options lead to finding something everyone can enjoy. Bars and entertainment are a must!

Welcoming staf, Champaign and chocolate in the room, beautiful view and very private, huge balcony with hot tub, entertainment, night club. The only one thing I didn’t like is that the beach is very rocky!

had a great experience, everyone was super friendly. They had great activities throughout the days. Loved the bus that would take you to Playa. Our room was just too hot for us, and didn’t love the dress code for the men at the restaurants. My fiancée had nice outfits but because they all involved shorts we couldn’t go to try the restaurants.

All around, the food was ok but the service in the restaurants other than the buffet was poor. Dinner would sometimes take an hour and a half to two hours just for the food to come out. Sometimes we would sit for 10 minutes before our waiter came to take our drink orders. The property itself was very nice.

Overall, this day was amazing. I’ve stayed on the other side in the family area and the adult side is very quiet. This was a good thing considering I wanted to relax I wish we had more restaurant options for the adult side but you do have accessibility to the family side to take part in their restaurants. my tub on the last night was not pumping out hot water, but I use the hot tub outside so that made up for it. I had the honeymoon, suite and yes, I was traveling as a solo traveler but I still love a good comfort. I will say some of the furniture needs to be fixed because of the humidity. It’s making everything bubble up. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The food was delicious stay away from the hamburgers but everything else is a 100% yes. I’ve been at many resorts and food was always the biggest obstacle because when you pay less your food quality is less so this place really helps to even out that philosophy. I’ll definitely be coming back with a group of my friends so we can cut up the night and swim in the morning lol.

Beautiful property with amazing staff. It was a great getaway to disconnect and simply relax. The food is simply atrocious and it’s the only downside. They have a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables available but anything they make is bizarre at best. The food resembles stuff you have had before but does taste the way it should.

The restaurants were excellent for catering to gluten free restrictions. The room service was very poor. Late and never provided everything you asked for (said they would return with the missing items but never came back). The platinum concierge service was very poor. Although we were supposed to be ******* VIPs. Service was much better on the other side. Irene was awesome!! The alcohol selection was limited. So if you like good rum bring your own. Would not recommend this resort.

The property grounds and rooms were clean and comfortable, but the distance to some features was very far. Food options were plentiful and most were good quality. Room Service was just okay - but they do not deliver alcohol to your room and housekeeping only stocks 2 beers per day in your mini fridge. Coffee Maker in room was non-functioning, and coffee bar in lobby or restaurant can be a hike, depending on what building you’re staying in. Overall, this is a good resort, 3.5 stars; Not sure if I would return.
