Lovely stay met amazing people and amazing staff lovely young girl who is so welcoming. I’ve stayed here a lot and found out it’s closing to build a 4* hotel whole site is going most people here said they won’t be back now the new owners are demolishing it. 4* boring hotel like the rest, real shame they should just update the apar**ents. I’ll be honest it’s amazing stay good location amazing staff nice pool . It was a home away from home will be a shame to see it go.

Wow this was my first solo trip abroad and I hit the jackpot. Lovely resort, clean and tidy all staff very friendly and helpful. Never an issue with sunbeds round the pool although if you want to catch some rays you have a nice terrace area that you can use, furniture provided. Would be looking to book for next year but they are going to be closed for a refurbishment. First time in Gran Canaria and wont be the last.

Will be going again. Amenities great, central pool, one for adults. Food next door, great choice and price. Accommodation the best. We never go back to anywhere as there are so many places to try, grand canaria we have visited 4 times, love it , but this accommodation we will return to

Great location. I have stayed twice and already booked for next February and next October. Rooms are ok and not as bad as some of the previous reviews. Pool bar is very friendly and well priced, the staff are very friendly too. Great supermarket next door which is well stocked. In my opinion it’s a great place to stay and value for money. Safe is free, shower gel is provided, washing up liquid is provided, a bottle of water in fridge upon arrival, even a couple of tea and coffee sachets for the late arrivals.

I have stayed here many a time and I have had an email from the Grupotel who own them to say they are no longer the owners. They would not disclose new owners...I wanted to book for Chris**as and could not find the apar**ents on any website at all so emailed Grupotel to ask why they wasn't available hence the response.Very curious as they are in a great location, well kept grounds and amazing staff....please reply if you know.

Amazing authentic apar**ents. Situated amongst two towering hotels but felt like a little oasis! Close to lots of local restaurants and a supermarket. Close to the beach and Yumbo centre. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend. Loved our stay.

Me and my husband have had a two week stay at the hotel Jardin del sol. We are repeat guests because we like the hotel. However, we have a big problem with two of the hotel's night staff. When we have come home after 12 at night after the entrance is locked, we have been treated very badly. We call the number on the door that is supposed to be called, but no one answers. We ring the door several times, after 7-10 minutes they open the door and are extremely rude. Now this last time it was a young female staff who after 8 minutes came and opened, she had a plate of food in her hand, so I guess she chose to eat instead of opening the door. She yelled at me and my husband and at another couple who was also coming in. I have read on Tripadvisor that more guests have the same experience with the staff as me and my husband. I hope one of their managers can fix this.

We have stayed here 3 times now. We love it. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Like little houses so have more space than apar**ent. Which we like. Pool area is very clean and lovely. Restaurant just outside the hotel. Food is lovely. Every time we come to gran canaria we always stay here. Definitely recommend. Even has English channels on the TV. We be back again.

Comfortable, clean, apar**ent in a complex with huge pool area. Very affordable as well. The front of the hotel has an area with multiple restaurants, a supermarket, and a shop that sells everything you need. Situated about four blocks from the promenade.
