I asked the room to be cleaned and the beddings changed. I placed the card provided as required on the bed to indicate beddings change request. I went further by stripping the duvet and bed sheets halfway, making it very clear that beddings change requested. To my disappointment, I came back that afternoon around 5pm to find the beddings and duvet placed back and unchanged. My room is always free of rubbish, no dirty cups and glasses, so there's very little cleaning they need to do. Only change beddings. I informed the matter to reception and showed the evidence to the receptionist. She apologised and said she would inform the manager but can't do anything as the cleaners had all left. The next day no manager nor staff came to apologies or attempt any service recovery even after my departure. At check-in the receptionist informed me that all their rooms only have twin beds put together and no double bed. If I'm a couple on holiday, why would I want to sleep in separate beds and duvet. There was no shampoo nor shower gel when I checked-in, only shampoo. I did not complain. The experience at this hotel gave me the impression that the staff are not bothered and do not take pride in their service. Will not return nor recommend.
