Flamingo Marina Resort

Had dinner at the marina @ Surf Box Restaurant in the outside area so we could enjoy the ocean breeze, service and food well served , great atmosphere, and a quick walk at the Marina was very enjoyable .will be back on our next visit to Flamingo area

It didn’t look at all like the posted pictures. Our room was never cleaned, we didn’t have new towels, the place looks like it was about to fall down, we had to buy our own toilet paper, no service or attention. We just wasted our money.

We booked this stay through, Special Places of Costa Rica. This is any but “special”. If I could give unit 103 a negative number rating I would. We were not able to check in at 3, the unit wasn’t ready until after 4pm. This unit is in a dated old decrepit building in need of maintenance. The switch back of stairs are cracking and I’m need of repair, my wife almost slid down the near vertical ramp that takes place of an elevator. The beds are out of a homeless shelter. The ceiling was falling down and the lathe has delaminated. Smells like mildew. The bathroom is a small box I barely fit in at 6’1” 230lbs. We literally walked in and walked out. The owner has a “strict” policy for cancelations we found out why. We were not give even a partial refund although we were in the room for less than 5 minutes. Look elsewhere and be wary of this company.

Great location. Good to sleep. Nice ocean views. There is no staff. No restaurant. Everything is very basic and outdated but functional if what you need is to sleep well. Restaurants, marina and beach close by. Good parking place.

NO fridge for insulin, ice for insulin, hot water, bar(or pool), clean pillows (Yellow from sweat), breakfast or restaurant, vending machines, bilingual staff. I left after one night even though there are no refunds.

This property is old and supplies nothing. No coffee maker, no shampoo ect, old towels.

The pool is falling apart, there is no restaurant or bar as was advertised in the photos. The hotel is pretty much abandonded, the beds were absolutely horrible and were like sleeping on a piece of plywood! The sheets and pillows had stains on them. We asked for a refund immediately after checking in, but we were denied by the owner. Overall terrible hotel, I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy!

This is not a resort. It is a very dirty old hotel that is nothing like descriptions on websites. Jacuzzi, not useable because no water in it, only drywall pieces. Our front door was broken. Pool was dirty and 1/3 tiles missing. No bar or restaurant at all!! No staff except for one security guy who did not know what was going on. We booked 4 nights, stayed one because it is so bad, and mis advertised in all aspects. Owner said no refund, we will now go to ********** for help.

We booked a Junior suite for a weekday. We arrived and there was no one at the property, no one was at the lobby/reception. The security guard was the only person there. Swimming pool had no water, really the place was not as described. We checked out immediately and went to another hotel close by. ******* did a great job helping me. They call the hotel but obviously no one will answer then the agent helped to arrange the refund and also gave me member rewards to compensate the bad experience. Thank you.
