We made a trip out to Portland Tx to visit family and stayed at Alisters. It was priced right at $42.00 a night and had a small kitchen. The room is quite large ( we stayed in a king) and homey. The bed was firm but comfortable for us. The water pressure was the better than my hotel in Portland so that was a bonus. We checked in extraordinarily late however, the manager was more than accommodating and understanding even though we had to wake him up very late. Tons of toiletries and literally had everything we needed. The only thing they could do better in our eyes is maybe get a heavier blanket we were freezing and the blanket was a thin sheet type cover. However, we would absolutely be staying here again!!!!!

Unlike the picture, there is no kitchen, there is a microwave and refrigerator, the health is general, the sheets are a bit black, breakfast has bread and fruit. The air conditioner is not loud and it is OK. The bed is 1.5 meters, big enough.
