Place is close to everything worth visiting at Port Arthur. Very comfortable place in nature. Cottage is clean with full amenities. Toasty even on a chilly day or night. Always a treat to “go home” after hike, walks and exploring around. Grocery is just around the corner, tasman cruise loading jetty also a mere 3 minutes drive, historic site etc etc etc are all very close. You are in the center of it all so turn left or right and they are really just 5-10minutes drive away. Will definitely return to this place. Highly recommended!

Definitely value for money and love the view of the garden cabin. A small downside is that there are quite a lot of poos from the wallabies on the grass patch. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend people to stay here at port Arthur
Response from Property: Good morning Huiting Lim,We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. The wildlife certainly is in abundance here. Safe travels.Warm regardsLea (manager)

Stayed 3 nights in the Stargazing Safari Tent. Overall the stay was really awesome. Easy check-in and checkout. The place is conveniently situated between major sites on the Tasman peninsula. The tent is very well kept, clean with everything you need for a short stay. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of utensils, cutlery, kettle, fridge and microwave. There is a BBQ outside at the verandah. There is an A/C, fake fireplace- heater and electric blankets. Bathroom is in outstanding condition - clean with modern equipment. The only negative moment - poor WiFi. Couldn't connect at all. Would stay there if visit the area again.
Response from Property: Good morning,Thank you for your great review of our Stargazing tents. They certainly are a wonderful experience. Lovely to have you with us.Warm regardsLea (Manager)

The hotel is very close to the Port Arthur Historic Site. The rooms are private cabins and can accommodate up to four people at this price. Great value. There is a kitchen area and complete cooking equipment. The double bed has a heating system. Towels, soap, shampoo, and hair dryer are provided. But the room floor is not very clean. Not sure if you swept it or not? But it's a good base for exploring Port Arthur or seeing the Southern Lights.

Facilities: Free parking, kitchen and full set of utensils, cooking is completely ok. Environment: The hotel is about 5 minutes' drive from port auther. Completely immersed in the forest, wallabies will appear in the evening. There is a lake next to the hotel, which is great ~

Very convenient for Port Macquarie historic site. Didn’t like layout of garden unit as bathroom access was through 2 nd bedroom.

We had a great stay in the garden cabin and enjoyed it very much. The only thing that was annoying was that the mosquito screen failed and it made the night restless being bitten. The employee was very understanding but couldn’t solve it. That was a pitty.

Glamped in a safari tent. Walked to secluded beach at sunset which was lovely. Comfy and secure tent structure, not a lot of room for bags or inside kitchen prep. Had a weird fridge/tv/cupboard combo with a sliding barn door that would cover tv to get a cup which was a bit annoying. A rustic set up that was fine for a night's sleep but longer stays would get a bit cramped.

Wow! what a place . Friendly , helpful staff. Tranquil surrounds. Short walks to magnificent views. Cabin spotless. Close Port Arthur historic penal settlement. Fully recommend this place for over night or a longer stay
