Hampton Inn Portland Downtown - Waterfront Reviews

The hotel was advertising that it was waterfront which it was not and the staff wasn’t very helpful at times.

Walking distance to downtown…. This consists of a few streets but nice to be able to walk. Mediocre breakfast but good a**osphere

I didn't like that it was only valet parking but otherwise it was clean, friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Dad and I enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom was not clean, I would not use the shower. I had to fix the fitted sheet on the bed, it wasn't on one corner, the refrigerator's freezer was full of ice buildup

Our go to place to stay in Portland. Centrally located, clean, and good service. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Valet parking with no charge for in and out service. Shower is good and strong. The only negative for this stay was the bathroom sink, the drain time was very slow- often leading to a full sink of water. Still is a 5 star hotel. We will be back.

The hotel is Great! It’s located makes it perfect to go out and explore the city. Breakfast has a nice selection.

It was great. Very clean place and very respectful people and also the valet parking was good also.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were very clean and spacious for a family of four. The pool was a hit with our two young children. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast, it had all our favorites. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, very close to many delicious restaurants and shopping. Overall, I highly recommend for families traveling with children. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Portland and stay at the Hampton Inn.

It was a long wait at the front desk checking in. The woman at the front desk was very efficient and extremely pleasant. Just a long wait as many people were checking in at once. The line was long

The Hampton Inn is affordable, basic accommodation. WiFi was not easy to access and the additional $35 parking fee was not expected.

From the valet when we pulled in,to the valet when we left everyone was pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to stay there again.

Within walking distance of many different places to eat. The hotel was nice. Booking through ******* was not a good experience. We thought we were getting a top floor suite, ocean view. When we checked it, the front desk said we were on the second floor and as soon as I stated that we booked an ocean view, she gave us a ocean view, but not a king bed suite. Disappointed with *******.

It was a lovely hotel, the only problem we had was they didn’t notify us that the valet parking was $35 and you had to use it, if you wanted to park on the property

Maine in the winter is beautiful! My girlfriends and I had a weekend getaway and we love staying in Portland at the Hampton Inn Waterfront!
