Nice experience and amazing place

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is lovely, very clean, great pool area, comfy beds and sea views from most areas. There is a nice quiet beach a 2 minute walk away, and a larger beach a 20 minute walk away via a nature trail. The staff at Atlantica Aqua Blue really made our stay extra special; everyone was so friendly, taking the time to get to know us, and we felt very well looked after particularly by the restaurant and bar staff (special thanks to Andreas, Petros and your teams). Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we hope we can come again!

I can only give this hotel an excellent review if it had not been for the staff who went above and beyond to help me I would have been lost. After 3 days of our holiday my husband became ill and was admitted to Intensive care in Famagusta with pneumonia and heart failure. My husband was so worried about me as to how i would cope . Justine who is receptionist was amazing she told me not to worry she would speak to the management about staying at the hotel after our check out date which she did resulting in me being able to stay in the same room. Justine helped me with telephone calls speaking to doctors for clear interpretation and so much more she was exceptional, so caring. The hotel is very modern and clean. We had a sea view room overlooking the swimming pool. The room was very spacious dressing gown slippers and a large balcony which had 2 sunbeds 2 deckchairs and table with 2 chairs. It was so nice to relax on the sunbeds I would definitely recommend these rooms. We could then go down to the pool and we never had problem finding a sunbed near the pool bar where I could relax with a much needed cocktail before visiting my husband in hospital. The restaurant served a variation of food hot and cold. The staff here work so hard always cleaning tables quickly but still always had a smile. I spent several days on my own for lunch & dinner. Andreas always had time for people even though he was so busy. The only improvement would be the white wine in the restaurant it was fine but not the same as in the bars I could not drink it . The pool bar was great for take aways I often had the Caesar or feta salad light for a lunch time. Well worth booking is the Koukounari restaurant which is at the end of the pool this can be booked for one visit with all inclusive, lovely meal just don't order the wine I had Prosecco which is fine. The beach is worth a visit and can be accessed at the bottom of the hotel. I walked from the church along the pathway where I saw several coves sea very blue you could even see a turtle. Buses very good run every 15 mins you can go to Protaras for €1.50 or the other way to Aya Napa.... if you turn left from the hotel you will find a restaurant that has Greek food its called Kafkarros unfortunately due to circumstances we never went there. We went to the hotel as it was our 50th Wedding Anniversary it was so lovely that we were greeted in our room with cake and prosseco this was arranged via our travel agent and arranged by Olha Guest relations who also made sure I had everything I needed. I loved the water fountains which were on every floor so you can refill bottles. It would have been nice to have visited the Sky Bar for a little more quietness as the lounge bar was very noisy although, I feel this should be part of all inclusive. But overall yes I would recommend this hotel

This was the first visit for me to Cyprus- but not for my husband. The first person we meet was the kind of person you dont put in the frontdesk. She was rude, not welcoming at all! We asked to upgrade our room but were told the hotel was fully booked. The hotel was not fully booked. Turns out she was just to lazy... sorry Afina but that is the impression you gave us. The rest of the staff was 10/10. Giorgio, Panos, Shazia, Karaklimina,Andreas, Gabor! You made it memorable. The food was Great, different dishes every day. Well cooked and clean. To all the staff that made is feel good- we will be back!

A family of 4 with two young kids - half board for 10 days. The pros are that the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable (small but it was ok with two young ones). The housekeeping was brilliant and should be commended. Pools are nice however it would have been good to have a proper children’s pool outside the splash park which was warm! They were all quite cold but that could be the time of year. Never an issue getting a sunbed but went off peak so can’t speak for peak season. The pool bar did decent salads, gyros, burgers etc but sadly not included in half board. The service and food in the elios restaurant was fantastic. Cons. The front of house staff we found to be really unhelpful and didn’t seem to know much, gave us no information when we checked in and in general quite unfriendly. There was only one buffet restaurant to eat in for half board and all inclusive. The food was bland and lukewarm. It was really disappointing so much so that we decided we would rather get the bus to protaras every night and eat there instead of using our half board. The breakfast was ok but very repetitive. The kids club was poor. The girls were really lovely and did their best but the ‘disco’ consisted of 20mins outside the kids club in the dark with a stereo and one girl with nowhere for parents to sit. There was no activities for the kids in the day and little in the evening leaving my 5 year old very unimpressed which meant evenings in protaras spending money on arcade games…we have been to some great places where whole family entertainment is a priority and feels easy for parents - this was certainly not the case here. We didn’t see much of the adult entertainment but heard a saxophone player and singer but wasn’t our cup of tea or kids. It is bizarrely all in the reception area/balcony with not many seats and doesn’t feel very fun/welcoming. You can book a shower room if you are flying late but slots are really limited and first in best dressed in the morning. Late check out is €100 until 6pm which is very expensive (knowing that the majority of all the flights leaving to UK are in the evening.) Overall, the surrounding area is beautiful and beaches are amazing but we Would definitely not return.

Very clean room and common areas. Nice swimming pools. Water park perfect for small kids. Full buffet for breakfast with many choices. 5 minute drive to Protaras *****. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone

We stayed at this hotel for the first time. We had an amazing time. The hotel was clean, rooms were lovely. Our experience in the restaurant was great, food was delicious and a big thanks to Andreas and his team for their exceptional service. Thank you

Worst hotel at Cyprus. This is not such a Nice place as it looks.. Food it could be a lot better , water park and pools are super cold and dirty, employees are mean and serious, rooms are noisy and the whole place as well . Not recomended AT ALL . Think twice befor Booking Here .

I would like to say that the hotel was clean, modern and the staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating. The food in the kitchen was really lovely, with plenty of fruit and salad available. A big shout out to Andreas as he aims to please all guests.
