"Our second time at this amazing hotel, lovely hotel, food and staff are wonderful. In particular Anna and Azhar. There were more to name but didn’t catch them all. Very clean and looked after hotel. Situated near the strip of Protarus. If you are thinking of booking then please do so as you won’t be disappointed. A lovely touch is not having to take your beach towels as you get given fresh ones each day, with your designated sun bed of your choice for the duration of your holiday. The maid knocking at your door each evening with a couple of little chocolates for you was so sweet."

"What a 5 Star experience this hotel is. The hotel itself is beautiful and totally spotless The customer service received at this hotel has been outstanding. We received an exceptional personal and dedicated service particularly from Mrs Glykeria Stavrou Michael, the Head Receptionist who went over and above to ensure our needs were met and went out of her way to ensure were happy with our stay. The breakfast service staff work very hard to satisfy the customers and the food was at such a high standard The pool areas were beautiful and the bar staff are amazing. We had everything we needed at this hotel and will definitely be re-booking again"

Vangelis Hotel & Suites

"Arrived home yesterday after a lovely week at the Vangelis suites. Hotel is lovely and modern and clean, staff excellent. As soon as we checked in the lady made a point that you cannot reserve a sunbed before 9am and made that very clear. To cut a long story short ..people will be up from 6 am to place a towel on the beds and either walk away with the lifeguard taking the towel and they have to claim it back with a post it on it as to what time is was left. Or people sit on the sunbeds from 6am !! This is not ideal when on holiday, you could get the odd bed after breakfast but if you was a family absolutely no chance. They have the adult only section which doesn’t really get used much as this is more a family hotel, so then pressure is put on the main pool and beds. They either need to open that pool for everyone to relief the pressure from the main pool or do what other hotels in Cyprus do after speaking to families and allocate sunbeds upon check in. To finish on a positive the location is excellent and the hotel has the most amazing ice cream/ coffee shop attached with gorgeous ice creams for 2 euros … I think our family went every day for the Dubai chocolate !"

Kapetanios Bay Hotel Protaras

"Had a great stay here. We travelled from the UK and had a 2 week holiday staying Bed and Breakfast. The whole hotel was clean and well presented. The room was no exception and were cleaned daily. We spent quite a bit of time by the pool during the day and the staff were great in getting drinks for you. They were friendly without being overbearing. Plenty of sunbeds if you don’t mind where you sit but if you do want a particular area or guarantee a bed then start getting up early as the towels appear from 6 am and I found myself doing the same to get the place we wanted. The pools were great and a perfect temperature. I have mixed reviews in the lifeguard. He was great at joining in and integrating with guests. Having a laugh and joining in with games in the pool. However at one point he was dunking a poor teenager underwater as he (and the teenagers family) thought it would be funny. She was scared and struggling to catch her breath when he finally let her up. I know if was meant to be fun but definitely overstepped the mark. Breakfast was fine. Usual buffet offering. Bacon, sausage, egg and beans etc. lots of fresh fruit and other offerings. Never went hungry. Food to buy for lunch and dinner was good. Big portions and tasty. We are there most days and always had a good meal. Drinks were slightly more expensive than other bars but for service around the pool happy to pay this. At the weekend the pool area gets very busy with local guests coming for the day. Never was this an issue and in fact it was good to see the place buzzing. On Sundays there was a pool party with a guest DJ. First week was awesome. Classic UK clubs hits with guests dancing and singing in the pool. Brilliant. Second week was Greek / Cypriot music and misses the mark for most guests. The staff on reception were great and nothing was too much trouble. Shout out to BG who was one of the pool staff who spent time talking to us and looking after us. The rooms with the “Sea view” only have a partial sea view. Night time can be very noise on this side and expect loud club music or live singing until at least midnight in the area. All in all a great hotel. Would come again."

Atlantica Aqua Blue

"Simply stunning hotel We had a fantastic stay at the Aqua Atlantica Blue in Protaras. Our swim-up room was stunning and made the holiday feel extra special. The food was amazing throughout our stay, with plenty of choice and excellent quality. What really stood out was the staff, who were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Their service made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. The transfer from the airport was relatively quick, which was a great start to the holiday. The hotel is also conveniently located just a 4-minute taxi ride or a 6-minute bus journey from the main strip, with the bus costing only €2. Overall, we couldn’t fault our experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would happily return ourselves."

Narcissos Waterpark Resort

"We were here at the very beginning of the season so they had to start up a little but they did great and we had a very lovely holiday at the Narcissos hotel & waterpark. Everything looked nice and clean, the kids had fun in the pool en on the slides, we all enjoyed the food & drinks and the staff was very friendly, especially the men from the restaurant (Panos, Andreas and Takis) worked very hard and did their very best to give us a good time. Maybe we'll come back here some time!"

Evalena Beach Hotel

"We were very happy with the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean. The breakfast was good but could be better, especially fresh fruit salad and more bread varieties would be good. We can only recommend the Evalena. Price/performance is right."

Vrissaki Beach Hotel

"Not long home from the best 11 nights holiday at the Vrissaki beach hotel, the location is perfect and the views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. We watched the sunrise from our balcony which was beautiful. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming, the reception staff really are the best, special thank you to Stavros and Skevi, who we spent many a times chatting with, they are the kindess of people, nothing was too much trouble and your always greeted with smiles. George at the bar is such a character too and so lovable, we loved our evenings watching the football there, we was lucky enough to be out there whilst the World Cup was on so what more could you want than a big outdoor screen, beautiful views and a bar. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and the choice was very good, you couldn’t want for anymore. The staff in the restaurant are so friendly too and just genuinely really a pleasure to be around as are all the staff. Protarus itself is lovely, so many bars and nice restaurants. The beach was my favourite part of it though, crystal clear water and the best part is if you book a sea view at the hotel you get to see it from the minute you wake up."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ms Maria Fragkou, she is a real Manager, you can see her every where any time to help, whith a big smile to makes urea everything is under control with hotel guests. The hotel is located on one of the best beaches in Protaras. The hotel was very clean, with rich buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They always have various entertainment programmes."
