Not a good hotel. Only serves a (mediocre) breakfast so you need to find meals elsewhere. You absolutely need a car. You can prepare meals in your room as there is a small kitchenette, but the hotel wants €50 per day for plates/cutlery etc. disgusting behaviour. Staff are rude, we sat down for breakfast in a family of 4, the waiter shouted at us and told us to move. When I asked why he just kept saying ‘China’. There were some Chinese guests so presumably they were getting preferential treatment for some reason. He pointed to the outside terrace where we relocated to. Humiliating. Pool was ok and we didn’t fight for any sun beds so there’s that. No kettle in room or any where to sit as the sofa was made up for the children’s beds. As I said earlier you have to pay a daily fee for plates etc. 2 outside chairs with no table on the balcony. Everything you expect in a holiday hotel room this didn’t have, apart from the absolute basics such as a bed and wardrobe. Disappointing and would not recommend.

Garda is a beautiful place, but there is nothing to do there except eat and drink. I was there for a week. On the second day I wanted to go home. All the little towns around the lake are all the same.

I booked two rooms for a few days (for clients) and Lake Garda Resort were very helpful, kind and polite. They warmly welcomed the clients, proved excellent rooms with stunning views. The spaces are very clean and organised. Wonderful breakfasts were also provided. A fantastic place to stay, close to amenities but away from any chaos to enjoy nature and peace.

At first glance, it is a nice accommodation. But it has many shortcomings. Mold in the bathroom, a sagging sofa bed, which is also the only place to sit, no television in the sleeping area, broken lamps next to the bed and no decent opportunity to make coffee or tea, something common in hotels. Breakfast is good, but fresh juice is lacking. Furthermore, the restaurant has no light menu but only ( too expensive) two- or three-course menus are served.

We stayed here two nights, although the hotel was adequate for our purpose we would absolutely not have wanted to stay here for a week or longer. The reception staff were nice on check in. The pool is a really nice area and we had a really lovely afternoon in and by the pool. The rooms are rather dated. The bathrooms were really nice and modern but the kitchenette was very well worn, the cooker full of rust and the fridge leaking because the small ice box had started to defrost and it needs power to remain on (with the key card in the slot). The kitchenette is not well stocked with pans (only a frying pan) and a t towel and washing up soap is not provided. The chairs for the dinning table were the same as the ones outside. A TV bracket minus the TV was in the main bedroom and only one bedside table which was a little awkward. The main bedroom had a generator of some sort attached to the outside wall and this was noisy all night. There are lots of bugs and if you suffer terribly with bites it would be wise to invest in a plug in bug repellent, because no matter how much we got rid of them they reappeared. The sofa, which I presume also doubles as a bed was very tired and needs to be replaced. Breakfast had a good continental choice and was either inside seating or out. The staff each morning seemed to ignore us and pay attention to other families so each day we just found a table. There was no kids club or activities that we found or that we were told about on check in. It is a good base and you can see that it may have been a 4 star hotel at some point but it really isn’t now. We had a pleasant stay and with a car it is a really good base to explore the region. It was a national holiday and the restaurant offered a meal and entertainment but all courses contained fish and my children are not huge sea food lovers and I am a vegetarian which meant this was not suitable. But all in all a pleasant stay.

Just returned from a Lake Garda/Venice/Verona holiday with Leger on a Luxuria coach. The itinerary, crew (Lisa and Paul) trips etc were excellent but the two things that let the whole experience down were the Ibis Hotel in Laon which was dreadful and the Shearings feeder coach on the return journey. At The Ibis hotel on our last night, we were told we could not get a meal in the restaurant and would have to find another alternative. When we asked where we could get a meal we were told by the unfriendly, rude and arrogant man on reception we would have to get a taxi to find another restaurant. As there were quite a few people with walking difficulties on our trip, we found this unacceptable and think that Leger need to rethink about using this hotel in the future as, for us, and many others, it put a damper on the whole experience for all of the 29 people on the tour. This was our first Leger tour and we were looking to rebook others in the future but after being disappointed with the Laon hotel, we suffered another blow when we were put on a Shearings feeder coach for our return journey. We expected a Silver Service like we had been driven down on, not a cramped, uncomfortable and dirty alternative. Apart from this, and the Laon hotel, we had a great time but unless things change in the future, we might have to rethink about booking

We stayed at this property by chance. It was a pleasant surprise. Very well-kept structure with several common areas. Kind and attentive staff. Spacious room consisting of a first living area with sofa bed, bathroom with shower, double bedroom and panoramic terrace overlooking the countryside. International breakfast with everything and very abundant. A beautiful pool area with umbrellas and sunbeds (obviously given the period we didn't use it except for sunbathing after lunch) we will return next summer for a holiday. Promoted
