Hotel Montebello
4.1/547 Reviews
Room itself was comfortable. Restaurant was appalling, same dinner 3 nights out of 4. Was told on first night that the table we say at then was where we had to sit for every meal. No chance to mingle. Felt more like a school canteen than a hotel restaurant. Manageress Andrea was so rude to guests & even called one a drunk when he challenged her about her behaviour. Didn't provide children's meals or cater for those with allergies. Dutch contingent were treated with respect while the Scottish group were treated with contempt. We raised a petition to prevent further bookings to this hotel.
Amelia Hotel

We stayed with my two children at the hotel Amelia. The hotel is a 2-star hotel but just in front there is the latest Amelia dream view that is 3 stars. Just cross the street. Breakfast for all guests is in the 2-star room, while dinners and dinners for half or full pension are consumed in the 3-star restaurant. Our room, No. 4 had a double bed and 1 separate bed with bathroom and bathroom with shower. The restaurant is really good, we have tried both lunch and dinner, with half-pension and I reiterate that we have met great. The hotel has a small outdoor pool with an annex small hydromassage pool, both very comfortable to refresh in case of excess heat. Michela and Fabio are really nice and they can always advise you about the activities to take around, without forgeting that the hotel has discounts and discounts for the main tourist attractions of the parking. Super recommended hotel
Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Tuscany, Autograph Collection

This was a last minute trip to Tuscany arranged to get me out of Florence for five days. The reviews were a bit mixed so I was slightly hesitant, but I really enjoyed the stay. The staff was great. The rooms were charming. The views were Tuscany inspired and the facilities were very calming. Yes, as I had read, the spa areas can be confusing. I conquered that critique by taking a self guided tour on the afternoon I arrived. I found the spa host to give me a quick overview at her desk and from there I explored with a map. No issues getting around after I invested a little time getting to know the landscape. The fitness center was mine alone most days and it was very clean with excellent machines. The walking path/fitness route around the property's edge was enjoyable. It starts over by the tennis court and you can follow up the hill, over the stream, by the stream, and up about a third of the way up on the hillside behind the property. You can return on the other side of the property through an olive grove that offered up some of my best pictures of nature in Italy. One afternoon, three deer crossed my path just meters in front of me. Before you head down through the olive grove, you have a choice point to continue on the fitness trail or travel a public trail system that is well marked to other end points. Really nice options. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and I always found the staff there to be responsive.
Hotel Ercolini & Savi

This gem is over 100 years old, built in the heyday of the spa town. A highlight is the dining room, with a ceiling perhaps 3-storeys high, The included breakfast consisted of hot dishes and an excellent choice of fruit and pastry. The downtown location is close to shopping and the train station. Our room was not particularly large by today's standards, but was comfortable, well furnished and everything worked. We were very pleased with this hotel.
B&B Hotel la Piana

We spent 2 days in this beautiful building. I had been looking for a place nearby to friends' house in Montecatini, but I didn't want to be in the center. I needed a beautiful, quiet, green place. This place has fulfilled all my expectations, moreover! The structure is wonderful, with a magical atmosphere, since it is an ancient couple reconstructed in an excellent way. The room with a beautiful furniture of the era. It affects the care of details. We have received even if not requested the room with the terrace with views on Montecatini, really spectacular. The couple is located in the middle of a beautiful olive. The season is already cold, so you enjoy little outdoor space, but I think it is nice to stay out on the terrace or in the garden in spring. The menu is really complete. The quality of the food served is excellent. The owners and managers are very nice. It is a charming place. 5 minutes from our friends' home. We will certainly return, next time with our daughter and the dog, as the animals are allowed.
Hotel Michelangelo & Day Spa

The hotel is situated about a 10/15 minute walk from the centre. It's a lovely walk from the hotel to where the bars and restaurants are, through a well maintained park. The views from the hotel are incredible too, a very relaxing landscape whilst your hanging out in the pool or having breakfast. The communal spaces in the hotel are well maintained and clean. It's also pretty quiet which we really enjoyed. We stayed in the Junior Suite and liked the room decor and the amount of space and storage available. The automatic lights are a bit annoying if trying to shower at night as they don't work well. What we assumed was bottles of water in the fridge were not free though found out by accident that they were not - there is no price list so be aware of this very easy money making exercise. Breakfast is a pretty standard serving with breads, meats and pastries. All good quality.
