A comfortable and modern hotel. Whilst the staff spoke limited english they were lovely. The plaza was in walking distance but there was also lots of dining options nearby. The breakfast was fantastic and a nice inclusion.

Excellent gem of a hotel. Lovely clean rooms, reasonably priced, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast, early check in and late check out and small fridge provided upon request. Easy walk to convenience stores and main plaza. Great ice cream next door.

Nice bed, bathrooms with powerful shower. The AC was heavenly after spending 4 days in the jungle. Breakfast with a view on the 5th floor was great also. Walking distance to city center. Also check out the namesake ice cream store next door which is certainly the best in the city.

Great hotel. Clean. Super friendly staff.
Only weird thing was they make you leave your key at reception whenever you leave.
Breakfast was hood, they have a small buffet amd also serve you fresh scrambled eggs made to order.

Wonderful place to stay close to downtown and right next to the next ice cream shop in town. Included breakfast is really nice and the view from the top floor is nice.

Because this is probably one of the comparatively best places to stay in this growing city, I'm rating it higher than I would, if it was in another place. This basic, but very clean hotel has a friendly staff. When our flight was delayed, we could not make it on the river to our jungle lodge, so the company put us up here. I slept in the triple room with my two girlfriends. It was large enough with three beds. The air conditioner work really well. There was good Wi-Fi and hot water. The lobby and the hallways of the hotel are not air-conditioned and it is hot. I missed being able to drink coffee when I woke up. We had a 530am very early meeting time, and the staff could not accommodate us with coffee or tea. We appreciated the refrigerator in the lobby with beer water and sodas for sale. We Skipped dinner because it was dark and we didn't know where to go. Lol.

This hotel has been going through major renovations in the last few years. I usually stay elsewhere but decided to try out it out. Here are my thoughts:
* service is great and the people are very helpful
* breakfast is very good, although they could add non-lactose milk
* rooms very comfortable
* NO hot water for 3 days, which normally is not a problem except the region had a cold spell while I was there

The room was super clean and nicely updated. It was very comfortable, and the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast so much and especially loved the view from breakfast.
