Spectacular space and the middle of the Arabian desert. Nestled back in a very private are sits this little gem of a camp. The public areas are very well appointed as well as the cabin/tent rooms and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the service with good. Unfortunately no alcohol is served (you can bring your own) however meals were fresh and they had a very nice assortment of dishes. The dogs on property are super friendly. I wish I had more time here to enjoy. Our guides told us this was one of the best camps and we did have a chance to see some other camps as we were driving around the wadi - this was truly the best. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing time here! I was genuinely so sad leaving after one night, definitely stay two. This place is so luxurious but also full of adventure. The staff was amazing! I was blown away by this experience. It was so perfect.

Such a beautiful place with amazing and kind people. The staff were all incredibly helpful. The whole camp is very new and well maintained. And the food was excellent! Beautiful vistas and a feeling of total peace and calm can be found here. We met the owner while here and you can tell this is his baby. He will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

We stayed in a tent, not a dome, and our experience was perfect. This camp is only a bit further into the park than others, but you have the advantage of seeing no other camps, or even traffic passing by. In many of the camps, you can see other camps in the distance, which kind of ruins the feeling of isolation. Everything was top-grade, especially the public areas. Beautifully designed with huge windows. I could sit in the lounge all day and gaze out at the desert.

We really enjoyed our stay at the camp. Our tent and that of our kids was lovely - looked beautiful and had all the amenities. The views from the camp were wonderful and we were lucky to have tent 6 which looked out to the vista. Lovely way to wake up. Service and staff were great. All the food we had we enjoyed. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. There were some ongoing renovations but the only impact that they had on us was food served in cafe and some new tents being built. So for us impact was minimal. The team organised a camel ride for us which we all enjoyed the morning of our departure. All in all fabulous experience

It’s a beautiful “glamping”camp that could benefit from a little more attention to detail. It’s sold as a “Five Star” resort and maybe it is that in Wadi Rum but a few simple tweaks would have made us really happy. (1) We arrived late in the dark of a desert night but our tent was without an exterior working light and it should have been working. The manager said they tried to get it working but could not. Fail #1. Just needed a replacement bulb. Other tents had them working. Attention to detail was lacking. (2). On our way to dinner, we noted that the path also had missing / burnt out lights. Fail #2. Easy to replace. (3). Dinner was a buffet… ok we are “camping”. But I told the camp ahead of time that I ate only veggie and that my wife had a fish and seafood alllergy. The buffet had no signs/markers of what was in each dish and staff were completely unaware. I asked the manager (Rami? / Rome?) and he had no idea what we were served. It was dark and other shad allergies. Pretty damn poor service for a “Five Star” resort. Pathetic actually. Breakfast was little better. Lots of “wiener” dishes…seriously? Five Star with canned, procsesses hot dog? Come on?? The place is remote but not cheap. Skip the two pools and bring in real food FFS! (4) An early warning sign (after the unlit outside light) was the fact that the bath mat in our tent was ripped wide open but conveniently place on the floor for our use. Attention to detail? #failagain The place is beautiful and with better trained staff (like our tour guide Anas of Karma House from Petra) they place would achieve a better score. Our desert jeep tour of Wadi Rum spectacular but the Camp did not organize this. I have no experience with other camps but this was sold to me as among the top 5.

This is a very difficult hotel to rate as it captures two extreme elements to my rating. The positives: The Camp is in a truly unbelievable location with simply the most amazing views. It took our breadth away. The Dome Tents were fantastic affording amazing views across the desert and the night sky. The domes were also surprisingly roomy and comfortable. An experience we will never forget. The hot tub/spa pool was also an amazing experience to sit in looking across the desert. Driving around Wadi Rum our view is that this is the best located hotel/camp of them all. The negatives: We were shocked to have to pay ridiculous prices for a cup of coffee ($12.5/cup) and that it wasn't included in the breakfast. For a luxury hotel this was unacceptable. We were also extremely disappointed in the food. Whilst the evening meal was acceptable the breakfast was terrible. We returned to the camp at 08.30 am after a trip to find most of the food was gone and what was left was cold and inedible.

We stayed at the Palmera Camp for two nights. The camp is in the process of renovations - some already in place. I call this glamping at its best. This camp has a pool and whirlpool. I upgraded to the tent which is beautiful. Just be aware that all the tents do not have unobstructed views of the landscape. I liked that there was a lighted, raised boardwalk so that you do not have to walk in the sand. The staff is pleasant and quite accommodating. The food was adequate for a camp site. They serve different versions of mansaf at lunch and dinner. Plan your meals at other stops accordingly,
