I have been meaning to write this review for a very long while but health issues have distracted me. I feel so strongly about how incredible our experience was that I really want to show my gratefulness and appreciation for the upmost professional, thoughtful, kind and continuous effort to go above & beyond from the entire team at Sagecliffe during our stay. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights at the gorgeous property and feel we could have stayed longer. So much beauty to take in and delights from wine to bubbles to tasty food. It all started with my reservation with the caring assistance from Neidi (and a fellow whom booked my dates/I misplaced his name) she went over the available & different options from Yurts (individual spots with drive up access), Cavern Rooms (luxurious hotel rooms), Cliffhouses (top of the line for me at Sagecliffe-you feel like you are in a very special retreat home yet close to everything that the resort has to offer, condos (1bedroom) to the Lakehouses (2 bedrooms+). We have stayed in the main building (no longer available) a couple of times over the past 10yrs & cliffhouse. Plus had the pleasure of joining friends at the condos (great for couples) & Lakehouse (gorgeous new homes for more than 2ppl) but we still have not tried a Yurt. Based on our needs for this particular music weekend we really wanted to take in the expanding views but also be tucked away from the heart of the action. The Yurt we stayed in was perfect! View was outstanding and just a short walk or 1min drive to the pool and Tendrils. It was huge, romantic and I loved how private it was! Big roomy bathroom, great shower, plenty of towels, it had a great place for a little kitchen set up (we brought a few things) with a larger fridge (which was the golden ticket!) The center skyline to look up and see the stars was the highlight. It got super windy one day and the winds ripped thru the hills, while it blew the Yurt quiet a bit it was very exciting and we slept thru it no problem. I mean you are in the desert and it is expected to enjoy this special place of serenity. I would absolutely stay in this yurt again our trip was flawless. Our stay at the Cliffhouse was really special and we loved being so close to everything with views for days! These in my opinion are the best for your overall resort experience! Short walk to everything you need! I could rave forever about this amazing property and the yearly transformations that have taken place over the years with the best yet to come I feel, but I will finish by saying that over and above it all our experience would not have been as it was if it hadn't been for the incredible staff working so hard daily to keep this gorgeous property as it is. They truly are hard working and truly care. We were welcomed by the awesome Neidi at the Front Desk and ensured all our needs were met, questions answered, pool cabana booked, dining reservations, welcome package and that our stay would be perfect! We use to go here all the time when it was Cave B Inn and since they sold it the place has gone downhill. They didn't even have everything on their lunch menu (which, by the way there are only 5 items listed). There were a million fruit flies in our room and the place hasn't been dusted in months. The pizza was a joke, ordered a mushroom and there was literally one mushroom on it (see picture!), the description said there were 4 kinds of mushrooms. Then the power went out and the management lied and told us the whole Grant county had no power which was a total lie. There were no emergency lighting which is required by OSHA so we had to walk around in the dark. Management was so rude about giving us a credit when we had to leave for a family emergency. I've been trying to get a hold of their manager, Pearlie, but she is refusing to return my call. The pool is not maintained, bugs floating everywhere, dirt all over the floors and the pond's drain was messed up so all you heard at the pool was a LOUD noise. Plus, the bed is so old it creaked and bounced like the springs were broken. Do not go here, save your money and stay in Quincy. The Cave B Winery is AMAZING and so is there wine. Freddy is #1

The setting is amazing! The views are absolutely beautiful, and the convenience of being able to walk right into the Gorge for a show is a big plus. This convenience is the only reason I might ever book here again. The service was terrible! The room was dirty—the prior guest’s dirty socks hanging from a light fixture, bits of trash on the floor, something gooey in the shower—definitely not what I expected for over $800/night! Getting seated and served in the restaurant was an ordeal for every meal. The servers were all super nice, it’s just that there seemed to be no organization or training. This place could be fantastic if it were better managed.

We spent the weekend here for my partner's birthday and loved it. The view of the river and gorge are breathtaking, the accommodations were spotless and luxurious, and the staff was fun and kind, they seemed like a happy family. We would definitely come back, and are planning to. Also super kid and dog friendly and you can roam and make use of the property with few restrictions. Special bonuses: the baby grand in the lobby that all guests are welcome to play, including our son, the incredible record room above the lobby, and the DELICIOUS wood fired pizza of Sagecliffe pizza.

The decor in our little villa was contemporary and natural while also being low key luxurious and comfy! Rolling over and looking out at the Gorge in the morning was a real treat. I loved the double sided fireplace, and even in February it kept us toasty warm. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. They were both fantastic. My friend had always scoffed at Avocado Toast, but their version made her a believer!

My wife and I spent a weekend there in February. We stayed in Cliffhouse 12, 1 king bed, which is at the tip of the building row on the right of the main building. Excellent view. Arguably the best we ever visited. Some places to walk around. The trip to the river is a tough trail so plan accordingly. It's steep, rocky and long. Going back is quite a challenge. There are no places to eat except the resort restaurant. Prices are exuberant - plan to spend ~$200 for two with only a couple of drinks. Pretty short menu. The food quality is really good though. Crab cakes are awesome. As I said, we stayed in Cliffhouse 12. We hoped the building location was great; other buildings have people walking by due to the layout of the pathways. But even our place wasn't spared of occasional gawkers. Probably worse in the summer. So we never felt like we can enjoy the scenery the way we wanted, with a glass of wine fully relaxed, and free. Now the house. The layout is nice. A living area separated from the bedroom with a fireplace. Pretty big bathtub, and a nice shower... Everything was so LOUD. The toilet was literarily like one on a plane. Good luck flushing at night. Some knocking sounds during the night like the door being opened - quite disturbing actually. On top of that, HVAC kept waking us up as well when starting - some weird transformer noise. One thing to remember - hot water is enough only for either a shower for two or a bathtub. So make your choice. This is because of the limited size of the boiler. The couch in the living room is not really usable for an extended period of time. It's uncomfortable unless one finds a lying position. It's leather so very cold. No fridge. A small cooler that doesn't fit a bottle of wine. The bed was quite sensitive to movements. Great linens though. So overall, we wanted to like it but there are so many things we can't.

We had an amazing time here. We stayed at the condo and the place was clean, organized, and had everything you needed. I’d bring my own kitchen knife next time though. I must say their shuttle service is top notch! I have no complaints about this place.

We stayed here for the first time for a music festival and we will never camp again and will always go to Sagecliff! This was worth every $ spent. The house and pool were amazing but Christie really made it special! She was on top of every detail and so sweet while doing so.

We stayed in the cavern rooms… And I have to say… what an amazing place to spend a weekend! 🤩 The staff was very accommodating and responsive no matter where we were. We had a great dinner at the restaurant, spent time at the pool, listened live music, and watched the sun set over the Columbia on the back patio. It was the perfect place for a weekend get away.
