Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena

We stayed here for two nights to take in a hockey game at the PNC Arena. You can walk to the Arena from here. Traffic cops block traffic so you can cross the street. There is a small restaurant and bar in the hotel lobby for a quick bite before the game. It serves a limited menu, including burgers, but we didn't try it out. We did have breakfast in the same restaurant the next morning, and it was pretty good. There is also a restaurant in the same parking lot called the Backyard Bistro if you would prefer. Staff here were super friendly. Obviously, this place can be busy on event nights (as it is the closest or only hotel within walking distance of the PNC arena), but we found the staff up to the task and our reservation was confirmed without incident. Our king size bed room was enormous, with a super comfy bed, and it was very quiet. Staff in the breakfast restaurant was delightful. Ample parking. Outdoor pool, not heated, and small fitness room. Laundry on the second floor and only $1 per load.
Residence Inn Raleigh Crabtree Valley

Comfortable, convenient, and priced-right, this Residence Inn is a great choice in Raleigh. While its decor is not trendy and up-to-date, the bed was very comfortable (which, I think, is more important) and our room was spacious. Better yet, it's close to the Crabtree Valley Mall, which offers a multitude of dining options. We stayed here recently, while Covid-related restrictions were still in place, and the breakfast buffet had been replaced with a pre-order system -- you must order your breakfast the night before you plan to eat it. We didn't do that, so I can't tell you how efficient the process is. But it's available. We were pleased enough with our experience that we plan to stay again. Recommend it!

I enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.
Sheraton Raleigh Hotel

I felt the need to say a public thank you to Tenia at the check-in. My husband and I arrived earlier than the official check-in time and immediately Tenia explained that a large group had just left and housekeeping was working hard to get rooms ready. She took our luggage and pointed out the bar and lobby area where we could hang. I was exhausted from traveling early and proceeded to the nearest couch. Within 15-20 min Tenia came over and said she had a room for us because I ”looked so tired”. Thank God she did because I proceeded to get a 2 hour nap before our work dinner this evening. I know it doesn't sound like a huge deal but waiting another 4 hours would have been grueling and made dinner not nearly as enjoyable. In this day and time when customer service seems to have been shoved to the back of line and we now celebrate ”just showing up” --Tenia went over and beyond and you can tell she values her customers and her company. She is a fantastic ambassador for the Sheraton brand.

Last October my wife and made reservation at this hotel to to college football game. Reservations were made two weeks on advance and proceeded 150 miles from our home to check in about 2pm prior to 4:00 pm tailgate. When 2 miles from the hotel, I got a call from the hotel desk stating they were canceling our reservation because they were full and they had checked around other Extended Stay hotels and they were sorry. They stated we could stay the next night, a Sunday, but that would be on our trip home and did us no good. We pulled over in a hotel parking lot and spent thirty minutes trying to find a hotel and had to drive 20 miles out of the way to find a room. We threw our overnight bags in the room and made our meetup time and had to drive 30 minutes after the game rather than 5. I called the next day and filed a complaint at Extended Stay HQ and after two weeks and got no response. I called back and a representative stated they saw the complaint but that no one had acted on it. She stated she would get it moving. Three weeks later I called back after no response and was told no action was taken and I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and after a wait of a few minutes the call went dead. I am very disappointed in the company but all I can do is let everyone No on Trip Advisor with the tail line Of Beware. They Don’t Care. Total score -100

We have been here for almost two weeks and I have just a couple complaints.. the water pressure sucks! I can’t seem to get it hot.. it’s only been luke warm the entire time I’ve been here.. also, the handle to the stove has completely fell off.. other than those two things, my stay has been alright
