What an experience listening to the music of nature before sleep and viewing the magnificent Mt Kinabalu through the window while laying on the bed in the morning, time is illusionary. Room is clean though a bit small. There are restaurants down around the mountain side. A good hide away for inner healing.

Stayed in the Queen Room C with mountain view, literally waking up on bed looking at the majestic mountain in the morning. And resting on bed see it covered with clouds in the evening. Room : basic & clean, electric kettle, 2 water bottles & 2 mugs & 2 bath towels. Toilet : clean with good strong toilet cistern flushes. Shower : 1 big bottle shampoo & 1 big bottle body & 1 bottle hand wash. Samuel is very kind to watsapp tips on getting a good hot shower in the night. no meals catered but a leisure 20min walk down to market & town, KFC & coffee shops & Alliance Bank. Quiet & peaceful lodge with only nearby ducks cackling & roosters crowing. Highly recommended!

Walking up to the best view. Nice place to stay and best time to spend time with friends and family especially if you could plan for barbecue will be more fun and amazing Weather is superb and suggesting if you could prepare extra blankets. Overall it is good. 4/5
