We revisited the property because of the location just a week apart. First time the price was rm100, then a week after that rm135 including breakfast. They do not have option to exclude the breakfast. When I inquired about the breakfast, the front desk showed me their menu with wide range of breakfast but the next morning, we were given a coupon to tick one of 5 choices, 2 of which were not available. Choices were bad, food was bad, all in all - rm35 breakfast for 2 was not worth it. You could find a better tasting options in the town which is just a walking distance. They will ask for deposit. First time, the deposit was rm50, then they increased it to rm100 a week later. So, I am not sure how long this review will stand correct when it comes to the amount of deposit they actually required. Telephone was not working (which they change for us), TV was not working (which they couldn't do much because they haven't applied for Astro), room slightly dusty, flooring makes sound when you walk, so you might need to tiptoe if someone is sleeping, the garden table at the balcony could be hazardous simply because they failed to adhere to the law of physics, and when you thought it couldn't go worse, the next day we had a very noisy guests with kids running and shouting as early as 6am in the morning. Apart of the location, I don't think I would rate this property as good value for the money.

The place is beautiful but you can't see it. The road is ok.. near the town it is easy to buy supplies. Can you imagine what it's like to live in a caravan?

I loved my stay at this resort. Its location is fantastic! I was looking to disconnect and relax - and that’s precisely what I got! It is situated on top of a hill and it is completely surrounded by nature. The room was great! It had a TV, a nice bathroom and a big and comfortable bed. I loved the wet Mee Hoon with seafood at the restaurant. All in all, it’s an ideal place to relax, stay a bit away from the noise of the city and enjoy the lovely views of Mount Kinabalu and the surroundings. Many thanks to the staff for making this experience awesome!

View hotel lawa, comfortable, cool, I like it, thank you, but next time prepare a spoon hahaha, the TV is not on, but xpelah, just come to eat, right?

Every room has balcony 😊 Don’t: No electricity upon arrival Bed linen were filled with dust, small small dead bugs. Quite old, can hear from downstairs footsteps, shower, television voice, people talking. Common: The road to Nikgold quite challenging ( as common as other areas in Kundasang, so it wasnt a big deal) No phone line, they do provide WiFi which is excellent Overall it was a pleasant stay. Spacious and accessible for wheelchair user. Ramp and grab bars (toileting area) available but not at bathing area. Only bed room installed with air-con but ceiling fans available. Drinking water tap available in the bath room and room service (food) available. Small fridge available but no dining table provided. Convenient to Poring park and rainforest restaurant. But quite risky to rainforest restaurant at night for wheelchair because no lighting at pathway ( from ramp area to the restaurant). No telephone or intercom available at the jungle lodge but walking distance to the main office.
