Suitable for children. The location is great. Very few dogs are allowed. There is a coffee shop that allows dogs. There are various forms of accommodation. One bedroom, two bedrooms, those who use the public kitchen, those who use the public toilet, and those who use their own car.

Great location just outside Nelson. Access to the very nice beach via gate. Easy walk to bars, cafes and restaurants. Good facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. A bit noisy due to planes from airport but they did stop at night. Noisier than some campsites from fellow campers as more open arrangement.

A very large site right on the coast with plenty of walks available. A little way out of town but, with the estuary and coast nearby, the site was a great place to stay. The facilities were clean and well-appointed, if a little widely spaced over the site. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall we had a good stay here in a camper van. Walking along the coastal path was great, with plenty of bird life to see and enjoy.

The Tahuna Beach Holiday Park is one of the nicest places to stay in NZ. It is a very large park, organised into different zones, with each having ablution block facilities. The staff are very accommodating and if you don't like the area you are in, they will help you to find the right spot, so you can move there instead. It is beside an estuary on one side and the sea on another. When it is stormy you can hear the waves and often you may see seagulls. There are planes that fly overhead, depending upon the wind and they are noisy, but you soon adjust. It is a short walk to the beach front, or up to shops with more challenging walks nearby. It also links to cycleways and there are bikes for hire if you don't have your own. I've stayed at this camp many times and it is always a joy to visit.

Great place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and do attend to any special requirements or late changes with great attitudes. There are lots of optional family activities in the camp, It is close to the beach, and ther is public transport nearby to take you to the city and suburbs.

Scenic, peaceful, dog friendly. Awesome beach, friendly staff. Close to airport so noise from planes through the day, but I did not find it intrusive. Our dog loved his 3 times per day walk and play on beach, met some lovely locals

Wonderful camping ground! Largest around accommodates a lot of people. amenities were very good . Lots on around Christmas / New Year well Organized Children catered for along with Adults. Well maintained park amenities / Friendly staff Helpful. Lots to do Adventure Park next door / Bus service into the city Mini Golf Pro-carts Hydro slide & Bumper Boats awesome for the family
