Summer Memories Aparthotel

Brilliant place to stay. 10/10 for host nothing too much trouble. Cleanliness 9/10 just needs little bit of extra care. Sleep was perfect 10/10.Fascilities were exceptional everything you could need 10/10 plus. Breakfast 10/10 cooked to perfection. Would we go back definitely yes in fact we have booked again for May 2024, Recommend without hesitation.

On our late arrival to our room, we noticed a horrible smell and we heard a scurrying sound, which we then found out was cockroaches that we saw in the bedroom and bathroom area. My husband killed the ones that he could. We went straight to bed but could not sleep well as I was terrified of the cockroaches. Also, we had no aircon, so the room was very hot. The next morning, we looked around the studio apar**ent and noticed that the shower in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, the cooking facilities were non-existent, the utensils that were there were either dirty or rusty and the plates were discoloured. There was no table or chairs to sit on to be able to eat anything either. My husband then noticed that the room was full of ants which were carrying the dead cockroaches out. We requested a different room, and we were given a room on the next floor which was slightly bigger. We asked about the aircon, and we were told we had to pay 65 euros for the week and pay to use the safe in the room, apparently it was in the small print, which we had missed and obviously hotel tax which we paid straight away. We went to unpack and when we tried to put the aircon on, it would not go below 24 degrees as it was controlled and the way it was positioned it did not touch some of the areas in the room, which was unbearable at times with temperatures reaching 37 degrees. The shower in the bathroom was the same as the other room that we had, there were red marks on the tiles which looked like blood, the plug hole was dirty and rusty, the sliding doors were disgustingly dirty and it was so small, it would be so claustrophobic if the doors were closed. We refused to shower there and we used the shower on the beach. This room had chairs lined up against the wall but no table to eat at. The fridge door would not close properly, so it generated more heat in the room. We tried to sit on the balcony to have a quiet cup of coffee in the morning, but the aircon next door was making a right racket, which my husband complained about on several occasions, and they said they would go and fix it, which they did not. They told us to carry the little table off the balcony and sit inside. One evening when I came to have a wash at the sink, the towels that they had left on the bed in a pile, were all wet and some dirty with stains, so I had to put them on the balcony to dry. On another day, when we came back from the beach, we noticed the room had not been cleaned, so we went to make the bed ourselves and we noticed that the mattress protector was disgustingly stained and dirty. We pulled it off and the mattress was even worse. Due to this we then slept on the single bed for the next two nights as this was cleaner. On our last day, we paid 35 euros to stay in a small studio room downstairs as we had a late flight home. This was a very small room again, there was no cold water in the sink in the bathroom or kitchen, only scolding hot water. The shower however was slightly bette

This was a last minute booking and was very cheap. Very pleasantly surprised as was a lovely little hotel, staff very friendly couldn’t do enough for the guests! We only used hotel as a base as was out most of the time but it was clean, close to beach, bars, restaurants etc and I’d definitely recommend as value for money!

A really great holiday destination. The family could not do enough for you and they go above and beyond to make sure you have the best holiday. Very friendly and really good food and drinks at the bar each day and night. We were there in quieter times, but lovely too see it get busier towards the end of our stay. All the staff are so friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily with such care and attention. It may be described as ‘basic’ but it is exactly what you need and a great location to all bars and restaurants! Just wish you could cut straight through from road to car park without walking round 😂

Lovely friendly hotel, right in the main area of Pefkos but slightly back from the road, so really easy to access restaurants and bars on the main drag, but it's so quiet you'd never know how close you are. It's not a modern hotel, but a typical Greek family run establishment. Very clean, super comfy beds with clean white bed linen large bedrooms, with a small kitchen area. Smallish bathroom but very clean, with very white clean towels dried in the Pefkos sun.Excellent sized balcony with table and chairs and either a clothes line or an airer. Very friendly staff, especially Katarina - thanks for the lift into Lindos! Super food and brilliant drinks. Relaxed a**osphere by the nice sized pool, a wonderful place to chill out and recharge your batteries. Would thoroughly recommend.

Always the best. Cant wait to bring my little great grandson, grandson, wife and daghauger in law. X not sure if should ge a villa, but will email you. About them. Looking forward to the beach and old friends.etc. jill

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Memories Apar**ents in Pefkos. From booking the Apar**ents to our 1 week holiday, Stavros was helpful at all times. The apar**ent was clean, and you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. They serve a good choice of food and drinks at competitive prices. There are many really good restaurants and bars on your doorstep. I would recommend The Artemis across from the apar**ent and Greek Story, a 2 minute walk. We will definitely return to Summer Memories in the future. Thank you to Stavros and all of the staff for helping us to enjoy our holiday.

We have just spent a week at Summer memories in Pefkos, it was a fabulous week, we arrived at the apar**ents the transfer is about an hour and a half, found reception , check in was straightforward by the owner, air con is to pay for as is the safe, our room was on the first floor, it was a bit dated but lovely and clean, the only issue was the shower it is so small, never been in such a small cubicle and I’m not that big, the pool area is lovely always plenty of beds anytime of the day, the food and drinks are pretty good and reasonably priced. What we liked is the size of the hotel it’s not to big so within a day you were soon chatting away to everyone. Location is brilliant, fantastic bar next door called zig zag great cocktails and staff, the apar**ents are in the centre of the bars & restaurants, but at the apar**ents there is no noise. We have to give a big shout out to Stavros, the son of the owners he worked so hard but always had time to have a chat. We would definitely stay at Summer Memories if we return to Rhodes.
