Cook’s Club Ialysos

One of the best holiday hotels I have ever stayed at! The hotel itself was always kept so clean, mopping and general cleaning going on by staff in rooms and in the main areas. Not any rubbish or dust in sight! The staff working here are truly amazing. Accommodating, hard working, so friendly and happy! Always happy to talk and give recommendations for things to do, and very helpful with an allergy I have. It was also my birthday when I was staying here, we didn’t have any great plans and went to the bar after returning for a meal for some drinks. One of the staff had heard it was my birthday and they all made an effort to make it special with a cake and candle along with a sing song for me! Something neither of us requested but was such a lovely touch for me. My partner and I had intended on going out for food a lot more, however the food served here was incredible so we stayed a lot more to enjoy it! I really enjoyed that they had a separate lunch and dinner menu. Amazingly too, they could make any cocktail on request that wasn’t on the menu! I’ve always said that I wouldn’t ever return to the same hotel twice, but the experience here has me wanting to visit again!!

Remote. average service. Clean hotel. Lacking choice of food. Ridicules music poolside I’ve had to change the description on this review because I quoted profane and vulgar language EXCEPT I WAS QUOTING THE CONSTANT LYRICS IN THE SONGS THAT WERE BEING PLAYED Not exactly relaxing. ITS NOT OK TO WRITE THESE WORDS DOWN BUT IT SEEMS OK FOR HOTEL TO BOMBARD MY EARDRUMS CONSTANTLY WITH THEM. At a shocking volume Asked for another beer with my meal, when it was being served …..still waiting for it…… Phoned my room to tell me I was flooding room downstairs even though I reported twice hot tub was leaking from pipe at rear. If your looking for something exceptional don’t go here It’s tidy modern and clean but that’s as good as it gets

What a fantastic hotel. Very clean and well presented. Rooms are excellent and modern. Pool area is large and plenty of sun beds or seats. Pool bar is well stocked with drinks and food is made fresh and delivered from the kitchen. Plenty of breakfast choice. Could do with food for people with food allergies, like myself. Staff are very helpful and polite. All are a credit to the hotel.

Had such a great two weeks at the Cooks Club Hotel. Could not fault this hotel at all. The staff were so friendly and very helpful (thank you Irene and Joanna) From the time spent around the pool on the big bean bags and sun-beds to drinking and eating in the hotel restaurant both mornings and evenings we were not disappointed at all. No rush to get beds at the pool. The pool bar and restaurant was also great and friendly staff. Although a bit out of town there is a bus into Rhodes Town which takes about 20 minutes and was so easy to get and also taxis are easy to get the hotel calls one for you.

We stayed here for 10 days during April 2024. All staff were AMAZING, they couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is luxurious, a very chill atmosphere and the music played by the pool was great. The hotel is a little out of the way from bars/restaurants, but as we visited out of season, a lot of the nearby places were still closed. A great selection for breakfast; toast, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, alternative options, full breakfast, pastries, ham/cheese. We hired a car for 2 days which was great to explore the island, this was very easy to do and car hire places everywhere. There is a bus stop just 5 min walk from the hotel which takes you to the Old Town in approx 20-25 mins, we purchased bus tickets from the hotel's mini market for 4.60 euro return (per person). The buses were not overly reliable, however we did always manage to get on one eventually. The rooms were modern, had aircon and a safe (no additional charge), cleaned every day, and linen changed as often as requested (they gave us a card to put on the bed asking for linen to be changed). Although the hotel is B & B, the rooms only have a mini fridge so not well-equipped if you were hoping to make your own lunch in the room. No rush to the pool to save sunloungers, you could turn up to the pool any time of day and there'd be a spare sunbed or two. Supermarket 5-10 min walk away. The receptionists at the hotel called us a taxi a few times, very easy and always arrived promptly. The food at the hotel for lunch was delicious and average price, the cocktails and other drinks a little expensive. Overall, we would definitely return here between May-September months as the hotel was fantastic.

Had an amazing experience here!!! its quite relaxing sanctuary, staff all helpfull and friendly and rooms are lush modern and clean, and the food is out of this world to say the least they cater for vegetarian s aswell !!!!!!! I didn't want to come home.

What an amazing holiday, nothing to fault from this hotel, the staff were so welcoming and lovely throughout the whole holiday, the room and hotel itself was so picturesque with a relaxing and homely feel. Definitely recommend trying the Sangria as well as the Greek dip called Tzatziki that comes with the fries! All of the food was good but not massive selection at dinner time, although lunchtime menu ran from 12-7pm which had loads of choice! Rhodes Old Town was a short drive away - 10/15 mins with buses and taxis easy to arrange through the hotel. We also hired a car through the hotel one of the days to drive down to Lindos which was only 35€ and was well worth the visit! If you’re planning to staying in Rhodes anytime soon, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!
