Admittedly I didn’t have high expectations for a hotel in Rockford. But we were pleasantly surprised with the updated decor, nice breakfast/lobby area for hanging out with friends, and the quality mattresses and bedding. The breakfast, in addition to the typical waffles and warm meat/egg items, included hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit, such as melon and pineapple. The location is close to plenty of shopping and restaurants. The fitness room had a recumbent bike, elliptical, a couple treadmills and plenty of dumbbells and kettle balls. We will stay here again!

Breakfast is not self-service, the waiters are all Mexican. There are a lot of restaurants around, and you can walk around in the evening. The room is very clean, the air conditioning is not busy, it will be fixed next time.

Love this place, our home away from home! My kids love the breakfast and the rooms are way cleaner and cozier than most of the other hotels nearby . Same quality as Hilton garden in, But better service and staff!

First of all, my perspective is from someone who usually stays in a Marriott, or Hilton, or something similar. But we were going to Rockford for a week to help my mom move into assisted living, so not exactly a vacation trip. And we knew we'd spend very little time in the hotel. But this hotel totally surprised us and we will definitely return. The staff was amazing - over the top helpful and friendly. If someone wasn't available at the front desk, you could call on the lobby phone and they showed up instantly. The room was a small efficiency with a kitchen. This is not a huge spacious room, but honestly, how much square footage do you need? It was as clean as could be, nicely furnished, and I'm not sure how old this building is, but everything looked brand new. The ”economy” side was that the toilet paper was ... well... paper. We actually bought our own after one day. And there are not the little extras you expect from a higher end hotel. No body lotion, no hair conditioner (only a tiny bottle of conditioning shampoo, which didn't work for me at all). So we just purchased those little things that we needed for the week. They were very covid conscious, in that the kitchen was not already stocked with dishes and silverware. Instead you just called the front desk and they brought up a very handy plastic container of nice quality dishes, silverware, kitchen towels, and dish soap. And they brought it directly to your room the minute you called. Great personal, responsive service, which really added to the quality of our stay. Add to that a great shower, comfy beds and pillows, excellent temperature and fan controls that were quiet, and did I mention spic and span CLEAN? Lastly, we joined their Rewards program which gave us 20% off our room charge, so we were paying around $70 night! Unheard of! There is an Extended Stay within a block where we stayed another time just for one night, but THIS is the place to stay. Much nicer than the one a block away. Again, the front desk folks made it a great place to stay, which you really appreciate when you're already in a stressful traveling situation. We so much appreciated them. We will definitely stay here again.

I just want to say THANK YOU to Carole for taking care of my family and myself today. You were pretty busy running around doing things and you still managed to stop what you were doing and accommodate my needs. We really appreciate your hospitality! :)
