I booked a one night stay at this hotel. The check in process was pretty smooth. After receiving my key, I headed up to the second floor. Unfortunately, my key would not work. I tried it multiple times and still the same result. I was quite annoyed because I had been driving for a while and really needed to use the restroom. I had to return to the front desk. The front desk attendant gave me a new set of keys. Once again, I trekked to the second floor. Thankfully, the keys worked and I headed straight to the bathroom. After relieving myself, I tried to flush the toilet only to realize it wasn’t working. I called the front desk and was placed on hold. After being on hold for at least 3 minutes, I hung up and went back to the front desk to report the issue. A different attendant was at the front desk. After explaining the situation to him he stated that he would call someone to look at it. I had an appointment and needed to leave so I asked him how soon the person would get there. His response was that he didn’t know and he’d have to call the person first to see when they were available. At this point, I requested a new room and he claimed he couldn’t assign me a new room until someone checked the toilet and it was resolved. I explained to him that I had to leave and asked if he could assure me that when I returned the toilet would be fixed or I’d be assigned a new room. He stated that he couldn’t make a decision until they examined the bathroom. I proceeded to leave.
