The Guest House on Via Sistina, 149 is on the second floor (with elevator) of an ancient palazzo. It opened in the year 2002 and was decorated by Tommaso Ziffer, who incidentally also decorated Rome's Hotel de Russie. Our personal touch is in the many ornaments around the house, brought back from our travels: a porcelain monkey hanging from the ceiling light; Chinese dumpling holders used as soap boxes; and fashionable fabrics throughout the house from Paris, London, China, India.... Expect an intimate & luxurious Rome accommodation, a fantastic location near the Spanish Steps, unusually designed rooms and first class service. We treat our member guests like friends and all is based on trust. There is a Turkish Hammam Bath big enough for 3 people and 5 elegant rooms in this Rome accommodation. All Rooms have: * TV with satellite channels * air-conditioning (please be aware that although we have new and perfectly working DAIKIN and MITSUBISHI A/C systems installed in our property, during Summer when outside temperature is exceptionally high, we cannot guarantee an inside temperature below 24C degrees) * tea & coffee making facilities * Wi-Fi Internet * hairdryer Please note that for all arrivals starting 1st of January 2011 a city fee will be applied: 3 Euro per person per day. This fee is not included in the hotel rate and it's to be paid directly at the hotel. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our check-in time is between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Should you check-in after 9 p.m. it is necessary to let us know at least 1 day in advance , otherwise 100 Euros will be added to your bill (sorry we have to call in a Housekeeper).
